It is kind of surreal to be honest.

Turning the page, if we can somehow add just five wins next season we would finish second in the East. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)

Talkin' 'bout a four way tie

We finished tied for 3rd. We almost got 50 wins. Without MKG.

This season is awesome. Time to take care of business in the playoffs.

Congrats Hornets! You look back and see the handful of losses that should have been wins, and think about what might have been. But, I look back at so many games we ordinarily would have lost and instead won, and see how this was a successful season.

Hard to know how we will respond in the playoffs. It is all new, so nothing we did in the regular season can prove absolute.

Just do it guys...!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Of the four teams that tied, we have the youngest core. Boston has that Nets pick though and multiple firsts.
It has been written...

So a guy told me when MKG came back that he would go vegan if Hornets got HCA. He dodged a bullet but I can take solace in the fact that we were literally in a four way tie for third.

Steve Clifford is awesome. He should be here for a long, long time.

Great season. I'm just imagining the possibilities if MKG were healthy all season and we didn't ever have to start and play Hairston rotation minutes for half a season. Oh and I can't forget that 7 game losing streak.

It's really too bad MKG came back too early

MKG did not come back early. He just got injured again. Some guys just have bad luck.

Remember the day MKG got hurt the first time. The doom and gloom on this board was at an all-time high. I never expected to have a dream season like this.

If we make it to the second round, MKG could be back. The timeframes match up from his first injury to his first action.

I think he shouldn't come back in that scenario but i'm not gonna say I wouldn't blow my load

He'll have all offseason to recover. Luke Kuechly played in the playoffs with the same injury. He's a young buck, he can do it

I'm just going to assume that there is no way MKG comes back for the playoffs, although I'm sure he's dying to get on the court. If it wasn't the exact same injury to the same shoulder I'd be hopeful, but it is. I think it would be foolish for the team to risk it.

I'm not going to lie though, if we make it to round 2 and the team announces he's coming back I will lose it. Probably enough to drop a ton of money on us making the conference finals, lol

Oh Jesus.

The thought of that literally sent a little shiver down my spine. I'd lose my mind if MKG somehow made it back for the playoffs.

Any part of the playoffs.

He's pre wired for playoff basketball.

It would be insane.

It would sure be the Raptors worst nightmare. MKG can and would eliminate Derozen.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves. :D We got a series to win first.

But yeah, finishing 48-34 without MKG is remarkable. MKG is at least good for 7 more wins, meaning we could have approached 60! this season if he stayed healthy.
