What kind of impact will Tyler Johnson have if he returns?

He's just a reserve player, I don't believe he'll play even if he'll be available.

I dunno, I think they could have used him last night. Clearly Spo didnt trust Dragic to defend Kemba which is why JRich played so many minutes. TJ can do a lot of the same things defensively and shooting as JRich, but perhaps with more playmaking and poise in a big game. Then again, JRich did hit a couple of monster 3. At the very least, it gives them another wing defender to run at Kemba/Lin. They could even alternate JRich and TJ picking our guys up full court and rotating them for rest. I remember Boston did that to us a last year with Smart, Bradley and Pressey rotating on Kemba every few minutes.

If cody is out i'm afraid CHA will drop this game @ home, Jefferson was just getting demolished in that time when zeller went to the locker room. The thing with jefferson is, he literally cannot jump ( or doesn't want to), many times youll see an offensive player attack the rim vs him and he wont even contest/rim protect. If i were clifford I would seriously consider using a lineup of Marv at the 5 in game 6 if cody is out, surprisingly he's never done that despite its intrigue (whiteside would be rendered ineffective , chasing marvin around the perimeter).

wow , not good... think my plea early ITT for marv @ the 5 was a bit clairvoyant, although this really hurts the bench too. I mean who is playing the 4 now in the second unit? If cody's out then CHA has Jefferson , kaminsky and Hansborough as far as real bigs on the active roster.

Cody is hobbling whether he plays or not. I think he probably will try to due to Hawes being out. We can put Psycho out there as a big body for short stretches I guess. I hope we can pull off the win and advance tomorrow. Hawes will be out for a week according to a lot of reports I've seen out there.

He averaged 24mpg this season when he played (shot 49/39/80 and averaged 9ppg), but I read that he's available tomorrow on "an emergency basis".

With the number of walking wounded we got its gonna require a Kemba Skywalker and/or Linsanity game to win. Literally no bigs worth a damn available as Cody has been key and Hawes has played well for the most part.
Kemba cant have another Original Recipe Kemba Walker chuckfest game and Lin needs to **** man up and go Linsane. Gonna need to rain the 3s again to win as the defense is gonna be utterly terrible if Al gets 32+ mins. Win Game 6, pray that Indy can push Game 7 to buy as much time as possible to rest up the cripples.

Cody isn't listed as questionable anywhere. He's not 100%, but barely anyone is this time of year. Whiteside isn't 100% either fwiw.
Depending on what the Heat do with their lineup I don't think it would be a bad idea to play Lamb/Hansbrough as our 9th guy tomorrow night. We could use a set of fresh legs.

Damn. No Hawes is a bummer, by far our most physical big this series.
