OT: Beagle: Long time Hornet/Bobcat fan passed

I am a regular long time poster over on Hornetsplanet. I know that alot of the mods here used to be regulars over there. I know some of you knew The Beagle. He passed away in Feburary below is a death notice.

Michael Keith Wood, 36, of Clemmons, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Jerry Simpkins.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
He was born in Forsyth County on May 8, 1979, to Keith and Donna James Wood. He was an avid sports fan and loved the UNC Tar Heels, Charlotte Hornets and Houston Astros. He enjoyed reading and playing with Cooper. He graduated from North Davidson High School in 1997 and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2001 where he did his graduate work. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his mother, Donna James Wood; aunt Carol Moore; and grandparents Willis and Eloise James and Harvey and Helen Wood.
Surviving are his parents, Keith and Carol Wood of King; special sisters Becca Smith of Portland, Maine, and Ashley Johnson of King; uncles and aunts Steve and Teresa James of Arcadia, Cindy and Donnie Hutchins of King and Betsy Vanover of Westfield; nieces Olina and Ione Johnson of King; numerous loving cousins; his faithful canine companion Rosemary; friend Curtis; and his best buddy, Cooper.

Thanks for the info catsfan. Sad news indeed. Beagle was always one of my favorite posters at BCP.

I haven't posted a lot there but I did like beagle. We'd end up talking about our season tickets a few times. He always seemed upbeat from my memory, which is always good to have on the boards.

Oh God, this is terrible news. I used to visit BCP and he's one of the regular (and nice) posters. It's sad that he didn't get to watch our team compete in the playoffs. May he rest in peace and I hope he's still cheering for our team from the heaven.
