I know it's early but I might just start voting Brogdon. He'd be such a good fit.

I'd recommend adding Patrick McCaw next. Like Murray he'll "rise" days before the draft, possibly into late lottery territory.
I'd also remove AJ Hammons. He's a lock for the 2nd round.

I originally voted for Jackson, but he's too similar to Kemba. I changed my vote to Brogdon.

If we draft a 19 year old combo guard that can't shoot and has poor vision, I suspect he'll be spending a good bit of time in Greensboro next season.

No doubt but we're talking about a guaranteed contract for
AJ Hammons.. Brogdon in the 1st is more defensible, though still a pretty big reach.

We also can't pass on a guy with bigger upside just because he might take a year longer to develop. Brogdon is pretty much a finished product for the most part, but Dejounte Murray has top 10 potential. He does struggle to shoot the ball and still averaged 16.1/6/4.4, also he hit 1.0 threes a game so its not like he can't make shots. Its more of a getting more consistent and taking the right shots. I think its hard to say he has poor vision averaging 4.4 assists as well.
This is what happens when you dont actually watch scouting videos and just simply look at what they
list as strengths and weaknesses.

I read his scouting report on DE. To me it seems like a lengthy written summary by someone who has spent a lot of time watching him play is more valuable than watching certain highlights curated by the same person who wrote the summary.
I don't pretend to have watched much college ball this season so I acknowledge I'm not in any spot to judge long term potential of prospects.

In 2015's free money draft I would've waited until late teens or early 20's. This year I'd take Murray 8th, no later than 15. Around mid-1st his downside converges with players who have little hope of becoming starters. The draft is that crummy.
