Atlanta is sending guard Jeff Teague to Indiana as part of a three-way deal, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Three-way deal with Atlanta, Indiana and Utah, with George Hill going to the Jazz, league sources tell @TheVertical.

That just took two potential destinations away from Lin - Indiana and Utah.

You have to really like a Pacers core of Teague, George and Turner. Hill will be great for Utah as well. Improves them big time while they wait on Exum. Hill - Hood - Hayward - Favors - Gobert with Exum, Burks, Burke and Lyles. Thats a solid 9-man rotation with lots of youth and upside.

Don't love the value for Utah, giving up twelve for Hill. Plus that really kills pick values after that point. Pretty sure that means pick 22 is barely worth Felton.

Really don't see the value for Utah. Would have thought they could land way more with that pick. Maybe there is a pick we haven't heard yet going their way as well.

They don't really need another young player. They just want a veteran PG to hold down the fort until Exum is ready to take the reigns. I don't really get it for Indiana. Not sure how Ellis and Teague will work together.

Yeah, but the Jazz didnt need another young player in the mix. They needed a proven vet PG in the worst way. Plus I think Hill will be great next to two wings who can also make plays - Hood and Hayward.

Pacers seemingly get the best of the trade however by landing best player in the deal.

This Atlanta-Indy-Jazz 3-way seemingly kills speculation on @hornets ending up with the 12th pick.

Was Kemba on the block??? Rumor was #Hornets were trying to move up for Utah's 12th, Jazz obviously hunting for a PG

Why not just take Teague. Utah needs another playmaker, they have a bunch of finishers.

Forget Ellis, he's on a short deal and they can move him.

I'm with you on Utah. Why wouldn't Utah want Teague instead? Must have to do with their contracts. Too lazy to look it up, but Indy ends up with the best player. Not good for us.

It sounded like Horford was open to coming back after the playoffs, but I'm guessing that's over with.

Not sure, but Hill is better off the ball than Teague and Utah runs a lot of their offense thru Hayward and Hood. Hill also better defender of the two. I like the fit for Utah.

My point is that I don't think Hill is worth the 12, and that even if they didn't use it they could've done better.

Like...trading it for Teague instead. Though Utah obviously prefers Hill, or else they could've cut Indy out entirely.

What were these rumors? I don't follow Bonnell.

We can agree that Hill isnt worth the 12. I will give you that. Hell, he was trade 4 years ago for a higher pick, the one that ended up at Leonard. Certainly he has less value now than he did when he was much younger.

I'm not sure, other than some random stuff that popped up yesterday about us wanting to trade up, but I dismissed those because it came from a very random source.

Utah-based reporter tweeted "I hear the Hornets want to move up," and then never said anything else about it. That lead to Utah fans speculating about Kemba and Batum in a sign-and-trade.

Aye, so probably like the Hayward ones floating around now, gotcha.

I imagine the Jazz were the ones that did the inquiring after they found out we were interested in moving up. They probably asked about Kemba's availability and I imagine Cho asked for Exum, the 12th, and the future firsts they own. Dennis Lindsey probably hung up the phone shortly after.

Does NYK now have space for a max level FA big or no?

Who'd have thought that when Rose and Melo finally end up playing together, it'd be for the Knicks.
