He can play. Got a screw loose to some extent but he can shoot and get to the bucket.

sounds like a 3nD project that could take over the Daniels role on the end of the bench.

Yikes. If they wanted an independent contractor should've signed Brandon Paul.

With multiple sexual assault allegations against him at Duke, I'm not cheering for this guy until I get convinced there was nothing to it.

sounds like a repeat of PJ Hairston. Had off court troubles in college, but a somewhat talented 3/D prospect. At least this time, we are wasting a 1st round pick on him and can stash him in the D-League till he's ready.

PJ's type of problems and Sulaimon's (if true) are apples and oranges in my book.

PJ was only hurting himself. (usually)

Paul is three years older than Sheed though. I'll roll with Sheed's upside.

Not sure how they got over the off court stuff though.

Meh, they're both bbiq-challenged and peaked early. Sulaimon went to Duke though so he'll sell a few more Swarm tickets. Judging by the initial reactions Cho probably made the right call.

I'm assuming that Quinn Cook is going to be invited to another team's training camp. Otherwise we would have been wise to sign him because I think he actually belongs in the league. And as you said the Duke factor to sell tickets is surely a consideration in play.

Sulaimon struggle with Duke but was pretty damn good with Maryland. he is not much of a ball handler but has a nice shot. he seemed to get much worse when not in the game with Melo

Was into the signing until I saw this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2015/03/02/duke-reportedly-knew-of-sexual-assault-allegations-against-rasheed-sulaimon-since-march-2014/

I don't want anyone with sexual assault stuff on our team. I'm fine with "character issues" if he's had a problem smoking weed or even missing some practices but there are certain things that we as a society need to take a stand against.
