I hope you are right! I've been looking forward to it all week. Hope we get some more good weekend match ups at home this year.

Yeah, that link from the Hornets is to import to a calendar. If anyone finds a link to a list of games, post it.

Definitely going to either the Memphis or San Antonio game right before Thanksgiving. It'll be my only trip home during the season, so in all likelihood it's the only chance I get to see us play this season. Unless I decide to make a weekend trip down to Denver in March (11 hour drive... is it worth it?).

Quick look at the schedule and back to backs vs weekend games.
I'm not sure if it was a theory or what we were told or where it came from, but there was always this notion that we were OK with getting more back to backs because it would allow us to have more home Friday and Saturday games.
Well we kind of get the best of both worlds here.
We have our second least amount of back to backs in the last five years(16) and our second most Fri/Sat home games in the last five years (18).
Last year was our lowest B2B total with 15(if I counted correctly). 2013-15 was our highest Fri/Sat total with 19.
If you want to count the one home Sunday game we have this year then we tie for the most home weekend games we have had in the last five years.

And this is one fantatic month for us. 10 out of 16 are at home. And we probably play 2 teams that will have a better record than us(CLE and TOR). And maybe another 4 or so that will be in our same tier. We should kill in March.

So probably the same formula as always - slow start to the season, below .500 in January, players ignored at all-star break, make a late run in March/April for the playoffs.

Charlotte's schedule looks pretty challenging for the majority of the season...No easy months, except for March, which should be full of wins on paper. If the squad ends up banged up going into March and can't win the majority of those games, it would probably kill playoff chances.
I've got you guys going 43-39 from the schedule. East has more parity this season, so that's good for a playoff spot.
