Kemba - 84
Batum - 80
MKG - 80
Marv - 77
Cody - 77
Sessions - 75
Belinelli - 68
Lamb - 75
Frank - 76
Hawes - 71
Roberts - 69
Wood - 68
Hibbert - 70
I still think MKG is our best player, but his 2k rating will never reflect how good he is until he starts hitting outside shots for an extended period of time. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being rated even lower than that initially.

I'm not buying the game until it goes on a major sale and they've patched the **** out of the broken product they initially put out every year. That said, here's my ratings- not how I'd rate them, but how 2k will:
Kemba - 83
Nic - 82
MKG - 78
Marvin - 77
Zeller - 76
Sessions - 74
Lamb - 74
Frank - 74
Hibbert - 74
Bellinelli - 71
Roberts - 70
Hawes - 69
Wood - 67
Harrison - 65
How I'd rate them:
Kemba - 86
Nic - 83
MKG - 83
Marvin - 80
Zeller - 77
Sessions - 74
Lamb - 72
Frank - 75
Hibbert - 72
Bellinelli - 68
Roberts - 65
Hawes - 0
Wood - 69
Harrison - 60

They gave MKG a B on perimeter D. LOL. What do you have to do to get an A? Marvin got a D- for 3pt shooting and Batum got a C+ for playmaking. Haha.

remember that one time when LeBron and Melo scored 60+ on him? he is a terrible defender.

I'm surprised Nic is so low considering the year he had.

WTF? Marvin shot 40% from 3 last year. Not too hard for 2K to look this stuff up

Started a new season (using the "as of today" mode). Made some trades, I LOVE this team:
Kemba - Beverley - Curry
Klay Thompson - Brogdon - Gee
Bats - Lamb - Mike Miller
Faried - Marv - Wood
Cody - Cauley-Stein
Incredible balance.
Awesome D.
Great shooting.
Go to guy 1a and 1b (Kemba and Klay).
Primary ball handler (Kemba)
Secondary ball handler (Bats)
Complementary ball handlers (Thompson and Brogdon)
Lock down defenders (Beverley)
Great energy.
Great depth.
Good character.
Wish it was reality.

I'm putting up around 120ppg and holding opposing teams to u set 80ppg.
This roster is awesome!!
I might not have any draft picks for the next few years (used them, MKG and Frank to get Klay) but I'm a title contender for the next 3 years.

Is Faried really better than Marvin in 2k?

It's more about how I wanted to balance the units. I have enough scoring in the 1st unit with Kemba, Thompson and Bats.
I like Marv's scoring and spreading the floor for Brogdon and Lamb in the 2nd unit.
It's beautiful.

Started up a new season as the GM of an expansion team.
The Bronx Bobcats.
Black, white and gold uni's. They look awesome.
Drew the #4 pick in the draft and traded up to #1 taking Simmons (he's an Aussie!!). Got back into the mid 1st and took Valentine.
Traded for Kemba (had to get the kid from the Bronx to be the face of the franchise!!). Traded for DeAndre Jordan. Signed Marv (and some others) in free agency.
Roster is:
Kemba - Lin - Delledova - Curry
Valentine - Terrance Ross - Tyler Johnson
Simmons - Snell
Marv - Patrick Patterson
Jordan - McGee - Bebe - Ezeli
I got guys like Lin, Delly, Ross, Johnson, Snell, McGee and Ezeli for cheap in free agency. I'm going to flip them as soon as I get past Dec 15th and they can be traded.
I plan on upgrading the starting SG spot (Booker hopefully) and moving Valentine to back up SG.
I'm going after Hollins-Jefferson to back up SF as a defensive athletic wing.
Curry will back up Kemba (he's lights out from 3).
Bebe will back up Jordan (although I can trade for Gorbet fairly cheaply.
I need to trade my assets for 1st round picks. I don't have any picks until 2020. I traded three 1st to get Kemba.
Kevin McHale is my head coach. Mate McMillian my assist coach.
What do you think of my team and plan?

I finally started my post-deadline realistic MyLeague.
This season we actually went on a pretty decent run and were in contention for up to the 6 seed due to inconsistent play from other teams. in the last 2-3 weeks of the season Marvin, Frank and Wood all got hurt and we crapped the bed and ended up missing the 8th seed by 1 game...worst possible scenario.
I drafted a sharp shooting SF/PF project out of Germany with the 14th pick and ended up trading Lamb and a future second for a late first rounder and Justin Hamilton because a Nigerian combo guard project I liked dropped. Also got a pretty decent end of bench C with potential in the 2nd.
Picked up Jakarr Sampson as a defensive wing in FA as my bench D was pretty terrible.
I was obviously capped out but needed a backup PG (I let Sessions and Roberts walk) and another decent wing. I traded Plumlee, a 2020 1st and 2 seconds for Jarryd Bayless (coming off a season ending injury) and Nik Stauskas. Was a hefty price to pay to offload Plumlee's salary but I got back a stabilizing player at backup PG and a decent young wing to try out.
Went into next season with:
Kemba - Bayless - Rookie (6'5", good shooter, good passer, slow as molasses and terrible defender)
Batum - Stauskas
MKG - Marco - Sampson - Rookie (6'7" I think, great shooter...I figure will replace Marvin when hes done)
Frank - Marv - Wood
Cody - Hamilton - Rookie (7', solid all around just needs some development)
Started the season off really hot but slowed down. Marv broke his leg a couple weeks in but Wood is playing very well as backup. Im currently in early Dec I think and am hovering around the 5 seed. Kemba has regressed some but Batum and Frank are killing it so far. Pretty fun.

I've been playing NBA live mobile on the Ipad a lot lately, finding it addictive trying to constantly improve my team even though they have gone a little silly with some of the ratings now. It's lost its balance.

Just finished next season...the most Hornets thing possible happened to me.
Was doing really well, running around 4th seed in a stronger Eastern Conference. Batum was killing it and actually snuck into the All Star game, and I was pretty jazzed for virtual-Nic. He played 1 minute, got a rebound and sprained his ankle severely in the All Star game, I lost him for like 2 months.
Since I was doing well and wanted to make the playoffs since I just missed last year, and since MKG was playing like absolute garbage, I traded MKG, Stauskas and a top 10 protected 1st for Oladipo and Jerami Grant. Was kinda hoping that Dipo could get me through the Batum injury then be a nice 2nd/3rd option for the playoffs.
We then proceeded to lose 14 straight games at which point I was ready to tank and get into the top 10 to keep my pick. I put in a bunch of young guys and all 3 of my rookies were getting decent minutes...at which point we started winning games and got back within striking distance of the playoffs. With like 4 or 5 games left and only 2 games out of the playoffs I brought back out the big guns...and proceeded to finish 2 games out with the 13th pick which I have to give up.
Worst possible scenario and totally Hornet luck...on the bright side unless someone regresses unexpectedly I should be pretty stacked next year. Wood played freaking amazing in Marvin's absence and some of my rookies showed promise down the stretch. Still....bleh.

I've been playing NBA Live Mobile too. My favorite lineup is the shooting lineup with IT, Butler, Hayward, Rhyno, and KLove.
I don't understand how to use a lot of the trophies and other non-player stuff I've gotten in the game. Pretty sure there has to be a better way to do it. I also don't understand how people get like $3MM to buy some of the elite players that pop up in the auction. How much do people play this game?
