Rematch of Thursday night's game, only it will take place in Uncasville, Connecticut, on the banks of the Thames River. Uncas was the title character of The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper. The area belongs to the Mohegan Indian Tribe of Connecticut. We can hope for a better effort and higher level of skill or team organization the second time around, especially since the regular home season opener will be against the Celtics three weeks from today.

Cody Zeller remains out indefinitely, leaving Roy Hibbert as the starting center by default. Big Roy is averaging 6 points per game and 6.5 rebounds in 22 minutes, but is only shooting 28.5% from the field. The team as a whole is shooting 40% from the field and 20.4% from three, averaging 44.5 rebounds per game. Lots of room for improvement all around.

I may or may not be able to watch the entire game, depending on whether Mr. Matthews cuts the power later this afternoon.

I will be so pissed if we lose power. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.

In other news, I heard my neighbor throwing up this morning thru the shared bathroom wall. Gotta love apartment living. This place is brand new, yet paper thin walls. Seems like they spent all the money on the pool, clubhouse and gym and said **** it on noise blocking walls.

Who are the starters with Marv and Batum out? Frank moving in to the starting lineup should mean we get to see nice minutes for CWood. Guessing Belinelli starts over Lamb, will be interesting to see who the second backup wing is.

Bit of a surprise there with Lamb, reminiscent of starting out-of-rotation guys like Taylor and PJ in order to keep the second string intact.

Interesting. I also assumed Kemba would sit out, and figured we'd just focus on building second unit chemistry.

Good chance for Lamb to build on his nice performance last game.

Walker played nine minutes in the last game. I imagine they will double that number today, if his knee looks better overall.

One of the more interesting preseason questions is how Clifford chooses to anchor 2nd unit's. Last year Kemba ended Q's 1 and 3, Batum beginning Q's 2 and 4.

Marco's offensive skill allows MKG to slide into that role but thus far they've played just 2 minutes together. Marco + MKG + Hawes vs Boston's 2nd unit would be a good look this afternoon.

We are starting two seven-footers. Let's see if my thesis holds up: that two very tall and rather slow players on court together will prove ineffective. Maybe they will surprise me.

Jlambs defense to start has been abhorrent, get your damn hands off cutters. MKG is such a defensive star on the other hand, i can watch him fluster wings all day, he us also aggressively driving and mixing it up in the paint. I wish cliff would have started MKG at the 4 vs crowder.
