I'm thinking the Hornets are better off starting Zeller. Think your front office might be interested in a package for Howard centered around Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kyle O'Quinn? Hardaway would be a nice second option or 6th man, and O'Quinn would be a nice backup to Zeller.

I do think that leaves you with too many wings though, so perhaps more would have to be added on each side to balance out rosters.

The absolute last thing this team needs is another sg.

Im not interested in love. They wont give him away for role players, that would signal LeBron is leaving.

Which is probably the case with any player with talent worth trading for. We are, again, doomed to the players we've assembled. Better group than last year, and with some promise for the future in Monk and Bacon, but still in perpetually mediocre mode.

the best move for us if we miss the playoffs (or dont make the 2nd round IMO) would be an offseason blow it up rebuild. including cliff and cho.

we didn't trade for dwight, give marv a bad contract and give nic stupid money to be a mediocre team. gonna have to dump a bank on kemba too pretty soon. lamb and dwight expires at that time too.

I'd love to do a rebuild after this year for a chance to draft Zion Williamson. He seems like a once in a generational type talent and he's from Salisbury, NC.

Also, not sure what type of bank Kemba is going to be getting if he isn't able to lead the team to wins. I wouldn't be against letting him walk if he expects a max contract and keeps playing like he did last night.

We could rebuild around Monk, Lamb, MKG, Zeller pretty easily. None of those guys are going to command large contracts and we'll go one season of Bobcat basketball before adding a top draft pick and hopefully a superstar.

Yep, I like Cody too, but he definitely is limited relative to playing the 5, and best as a key reserve.

Both he and Frank were college centers that don't translate at the NBA level. Frank may be a better 5 than 4, but he doesn't project as a starter.

As a reminder, i am euro, and i know what he is worth in Euroleague or playing for his nt. He is a much better slasher than Frank for sure, and as suggested Fat, a much better defender (off the ball and in 1/1). With decent athleticism for an european wing.

There is 1 open spot in the roster, as for playing time it would be to the detriment of Graham/Bacon.

He might not be ideal, but for sure he would be cheap and provide a solution for Clifford when there is no ball movement from the bench without having to hope for miracles from the guards. Not an ideal screener though.

Simmons in a lineup with LeBron would be interesting.

You want LeBron with the ball in his hands the most. Kemba also needs the ball in his hands. And watching Philly, Simmons needs the ball in his hands since he doesn't have a shot. And Embiid needs lots of touches as well. Not a good match I don't think. Need to replace Simmons or Kemba with a real three point specialist a la Klay.
