5 home, 5 road. Start the season with three games in four days, which is obviously not ideal with us starting the season in injury mode. Fortunately we have three days off between Boston on 10/29 and PHI on 11/2 with no travel required between those two games, then another two day break after BRK before IND.

Only one set of back to backs in our first 10 games is tolerable.

You're probably right about that Nets game YB. Would be most Hornets thing ever to go up there and get lit up by Lin who will drop 35/10 on us. In related news, we might suspend 15 people that night.

Against two teams that will likely be bottom 10 offensive teams this year. The way we played last night, we would've been down 25 or 30 against a really good team by halftime and then failed to claw our way all the way back. You could argue that the opposing offenses self-destructing were the greatest contributor to that #3 defensive rating. The D has looked good, but not #3 in the league good.

Hence the "too early to be significant" qualifier.

Well looky there, 3-1 start to the season.

Brooklyn will be tough I think because we won't take them seriously like Philly. Thats a L. Indiana is overrated. They barely beat a really bad Mavs team, lost to the Nets, got killed by the Bulls, and had to come back against the Lakers. I think we are better. Utah and Toronto are wins, then two more losses to Cleveland and the Wolves. 6-4 in this first stretch.

4-1 is great, but 0 wins against projected playoff teams. I'm pretty thankful for the easy slate to start, if we started with a west coast swing it would have been brutal.

Damnit, Gordon Hayward is surprising everyone and coming back right before our game. Couldn't he have waited one more week?

Still like our chances though.
