Not surprising that Larry Brown wanted to bring in Allen Iverson back in the day. Pleasantly surprising that MJ knew that it is a terrible idea.

Now, that I see that the previous video is not working anymore, I have to explain that it was an interview with Larry Brown where he said that he wanted to bring in Allen Iverson during his tenure at Charlotte. He thought that he still had it and could contribute. MJ strongly disagreed and said that it would take away minutes from the younger guys and that it isn't worth it.

Oh geez. I missed that video.

@ Lamar:
Do you know from which show was that interview from? Thanks.

It came from pennyccw's -- the Allen Iverson superfan on YouTube -- channel. Unfortunately, I can't remember the details which could have been seen in the video itself, sorry.

first game footage of Kenny Gattison on YouTube:

go to 0:07 for the Gatman making a top-10 dunk list (the dunk isn't that spectacular, to be honest, but Gattison does channel his inner Shawn Kemp after it):

Thanks for the video Lamar. Hornets were lucky to have such a solid utility big for that stretch of years. Video has some really good examples of how that team loved to get out and run.

Depressing. And if Wizards win game 7, it's down to just us and the Clippers.

If there is a basketball god, he's definitely black. So that probably contributed as well.

Love that the throwbacks are coming back, but I really liked the Buzz City as well. Wish there was a way that both could be used in the season.

Can't wait to see our crew in the pinstripes though! Just in time for the All-Star game too.

12:50 for Jared Dudley calling Larry Brown his favorite coach:
http://www.espn.com/espnradio/play?id=19462059

Bet none of the other youngsters from that Bobcats team think so, haha. It says a lot about Dudley's professionalism and need for structure, though.

A good podcast, overall. Dudley's among the best NBA talkers ever as far as guys who are in the league at that point are concerned.
