Grizzlies have won 4 in a row, including a win vs the Clippers. In their last two wins they help opposition to 64 and 71 points respectively.

worth mentioning that the Mavericks were the ones to score 64 and that they played without Barea and Nowitzki. they're currently last in the league in offensive rating and are looking completely toothless on offense.

with that being said, yeah, it will still be the number four defense (Charlotte) facing the number six (Memphis).

Apparently, Parsons is out for two weeks, which is a good thing. Tony Allen is also listed as questionable.
As good as they are defensively, they kind of struggle offensively. Tough match up again for Marvin and Frank though (Randolph & Green).
Might be worth to double team Gasol for this game, they are not a really good threat from the perimeter (#antijinx) especially without Parsons.

Who will MKG take? No real obvious targets, probably my boy ennis at first. Ball handling has always been James weakness, so he might be able to force a couple of steals.

I'm calling us to win by 11 points. 93-82

ironically, at this point it might have been good to have Parsons playing since he's, you know, recovering from the surgery and still is struggling. he hasn't looked good out there.

On the plus side, they also allow the 5th lowest 3PT% in the league.

its sad that these other players can figure out how to shoot threes in one off-season but our guys (MKG/Zeller) cant figure out how to even shoot midrange

Grizzlies are riding a nice little win streak, and the conley + gasol combo is no joke. wouldn't be surprised if MKG picks up conley to give walker a break though, the same way he did with holiday. Otherwise there is literally no point in having him out there guarding james ennis. Maybe we see a lot more marco in this matchup

Well Gasol has always been a nice midrange shooter (shot 45% on shots 16-24 foot when he was a rookie) so it wasn't much of a step to move out to the 3 point line. MKG and Zeller are also both younger than Gasol was his rookie year so jury is still out on that.
