Can't believe I'm saying it. But that's a bad trade for us.

Plumlee makes almost as much as Zeller. Man I don't like this

Having both a Plumlee and Zeller should get you some kind of prize.

Interesting - much better fit, he's very similar to Cody in terms of strength / athleticism, PNR potential, and very limited offensive player.

Not how I expected to punt on cap space for next summer thoug, head scratcher from a cap perspective.

If we were already incapable of creating cap space next summer, I wouldn't mind this at all. It feels like the tail wagging the dog though, in that this severely limits what we can do in FA.

Curious if picks are involved - have to think so given Plumlee's contract and the fact that he plays very little and projects to play even less with Thon Maker starting to be included in their rotation. MIL needed to move him.

How is he at setting screens? Because that is the single biggest issue we have when Cody isn't in. Can't set screens worth a damn!

If Cody is on one end of the spectrum and Hibbert is on the other end of the spectrum, Miles is much closer to Cody than Hibbert.

He's actually a pretty good screen setter because of his strength -- athletic for his size as well.

Meh, it's whatever. You can always make cap space if it's needed. Definitely signals a prolonged absence for Cody though.

Feels like the Marco trade redux - there's got to be more assets coming back, right?

Tying up $20M in Marco and Miles Plumlee next summer just doesn't make a tone of sense for me without getting any assets for taking on that salary.

@ESPNSteinLine
Early indications are that the deal involves no draft compensation. Miles Plumlee has been an Charlotte target for some time.
