I actually like that move, was an O'Bryant fan at the draft.

not sure I understand why, he's 6'9 really a PF isn't he? he gonna play backup center instead of Tobey?

We've only been playing Marvin, Frank, and Tobey at 4 and 5 due to injuries. Guessing they think he's more ready to contribute than Wood.

Could mean Cody is expected to miss several more games and thus Frank stays at the 5.

Did you watch the game tonight? Tobey has played pretty well, feels weird to come at him if you've watched him play.

Liked him during the draft.

At the draft he weighed 257, only 6'9" but a 7'2" wingspan. Seems like more of an opportunistic signing, not sure how it works from a fit and need persepctive.

Sessions must be coming back soon, otherwise we are a BRob or Kemba injury away from only one healthy PG.

I thought his defense was much better than I expected and I also thought he was pretty intelligent in the way he moved the ball.

I think we're looking for a little more than "better than expected defense" and "pretty intelligent ball movement" from what amounts to our backup Center right now.

We're probably also expecting more than a blank stat line other than 1 assist and 1 turnover in 14 minutes from what amounts to our backup Center right now.

Doing nothing and not standing out in any way is an upgrade to Hibbert.

I've signed this guy to be my 12th man on NBA 2k before, so I approve based on nothing more than that.

Never said Tobey is a 2nd string caliber C right now, but he at least looked like he belonged on the floor and was clearly not overwhelmed. He is found money as an UDFA rookie on a 10 day and I thought he more than held his own.

He shouldn't be in the rotation barring injury but I'm down with him being our 3rd string C next season, especially since Frank can also plug in at C.

Seriously, how did that first dunk clear the rim?

10 Day Contracts with CHA expire today for Mike Tobey and Ray McCallum. No indications yet if either will be signed for remainder of season.

Wasn't thinking and assumed we were cutting McCallum, not that Tobey and Ray's 10 days expired. Possible that we are sending Tobey back to the Swarm and might reinsert another PG. Otherwise, what is the plan if Kemba or BRob goes down before Sessions is ready to come back?
