ugh, its depressing and a relief at the same time.

Hopefully this means 30+ minutes for Weber, Graham, Lamb, Frank and Wood.

I would've thought this impossible.

Don't fret. This just means that we'll use the fact that he wasn't able to complete the previous seasons as a excuse for him being healthy this season and not being used to playing so many games.

Let me try that again then.

We'll use the fact that MKG hasn't been healthy the previous seasons as a excuse for why he couldn't get going this season due to him not being used to playing so many games.

Would have preferred the latter, but nice work.

Excuses don't excuse and explanations don't explain.

We should have thrown in the towel like tonight about a month ago.

With as bad as the other teams tanked, I don't think it made much difference. I see maybe 3 wins that could have been losses if we tanked. That only moves up 1 position.


Weber hit his first 3 at the end there I think. Took him awhile and some ugly shots, but he did it!

The Kings / Pelicans trade really hurt us wrt tanking. At least we know we pick eleventh now. Maybe someone good will fall and Cho (or whoever really makes the decision) will actually make a good pick for once.

MKG gets my award for most disappointing Hornet for the season. Heartbreaking he didn't seem to improve at all during the season. Cliff/media kept telling us it would take some time for MKG to get back to game speed, but that never really happened. His best game was the 1st game of the season. After that he settled into a groove similar to all his other seasons (except his 7-game anomaly from last year).

I don't want to hear a word from Hornets social media this offseason about MKG shooting 3s in practice. Nobody is falling for that story again. Don't post any videos of MKG shooting 3s and act like we're supposed to be excited.

Anyway, yay MKG for playing 81 games. #silverlining.

This is what I was just thinking. Even if we called off the playoff chase two weeks earlier, I doubt it would have changed much. Knicks, Mavs, Pelicans, Kings, Magic and Wolves really fell apart those last 3 weeks. We probably weren't going to finish below those teams in any scenario.

Of the bottom 12 teams only LAL and PHX have won recently (cemented #2 and #3).

Lol....the other dwellers are on a collective 35-game losing streak. Charlotte dropped their last 5 and are still 3 ahead of NOP, 4 DAL, 5 SAC/MIN, and 6 NYK.
