I just watched the video and other than that don't know much about Frank. Am I in the same ballpark with an Andre Iggy comparison? He seems to be freakishly athletic, very good on D and can make you pay from distance if you leave him open.

Sure if Andre played the point. I am thinking that if he is on the board we will take him. He potentially solves one of our biggest issues, and could possibly be our eventual replacement for Kemba.

This is the guy I'm hoping is still around at 11. He projects well, fills a need, and looks to be able to fit into the current rotation.

Yeah, it may be 3 years before he really hits his stride. That's normal with PGs. But he will be fine for backup minutes this year and next.

This dude is likely to be the perfect fit for our needs. Take him if he falls.

Of course but he has the athleticism and Iggy is also a willing passer also.

Iggy was stronger and bouncier. Frank is more of a smooth athlete than an explosive one, but he is still 18 (will barely be 19 to start the season), so there is some thinking that he might still have some unreached athletic potential. Frank projects to be a better shooter and seems like he might have more overall offensive potential, but might not have the potential to be as versatile or quite as elite overall on defense.

From what I can tell his strengths are:
- Great physical size (height + reach) for a combo guard
- Very good overall athletic tools (speed + agility + solid strength)
- Should be able to switch three positions, really competes on D
- Very good outside shooter (spot up or off bounce)
- High IQ passer
- Above average vision
- Reads PnR well
- Good feel for the game

Weaknesses:
- Doesn't have an advanced handle
- First step isn't great
- a bit passive on offense
- Hasn't shown a lot of ability to create off the dribble in half court
- Not a good finisher in traffic so far

Iv'e liked this guy since he first blew up in that Euro tournament...I just get this smaller Giannis vibe from him and think he could be a matchup nightmare against most guards in the league...why not swing for the fences if he's there, we certainly could use a combo guard.

Indeed I agree on taking Frank at 11 if he is there. I seriously doubt Monk falls, so this guy is oir next best guard option for both what we need and the future. If a higher projected big is there might be tempting to bypass. I'd love to see Kina next to Kemba.

You can add that he has active hands in defense and he steals the ball quite often (almost in the J. wall manner except that he is less 'agressive' and he would probably not be as protected by nba refs as wall is)
He is also extremely coachable.
He is pretty reliable when you talk about spacing and shooting in transition (it can be a default here though as this team mostly relies on MKG for this, others being relunctant to attack the rim or clumpsy at the rim).

On the weakness side, he is not a good creator. So he relies a lot on off the ball moves from his teammates. Except when one has a mismatch/post up to play.

I still don't think he would be a good fit here. He is not a score first combo and while he would be a better fit than Batum at the 2 along with Kemba, i don't think he is the answer this team needs at guard when Kemba is resting. Even if Batum kinda plays point forward in such line up.

I said it plenty of times, i only see two profiles among our french (i insist, he IS french ^ ^) prospects that would be great fit along with Kemba : Yves Pons (2 guard) and Doumbouya (french lite lbj). Both should be in draft talks in 2 years - if they confirm their potential - , when Kemba will be at his prime.

This is the guy I want at 11. I think he'll shoot up the board once teams start working these guys out, but if we get the chance I think this kid has a high ceiling and respectable floor. The fact he's already had pro experience and knows how to live with bench minutes just makes it that much easier.

You don't pronounce the "t" so it's Nilikina

Can see that, except add a three ball. He shot over 40% from three in a professional league as an 18 year old.
