This could either be the best day or worst day of the new era Hornets. Here's hoping for the former.

I was happy to take Mitchell before the Howard trade, but now that we'll have Cody/D12 on the court at all times I hope we can land Dennis Smith in a trade up or Malik Monk falls to us at 11.

I expect another trade tonight. Frank is to slow to guard 4's imo. There are no longer minutes available for him to develop at the 5. In my opinion, he or Cody is moved tonight.

I think Charlotte's best hope of a player dropping (Smith, Monk) is a team trading into the lottery (or current lottery team) to draft a surprise player. I could see these players targeted:

Frank Ntlikina, John Collins, Jarrett Allen, Justin Patton, DJ Wilson

I wouldn't be that shocked if we pick Anunoby at 11, but we won't be keeping him. It makes too much sense for us to not attempt to maneuver a trade up with Minnesota. OG was invited to the green room for a reason, he's the perfect fit for Minnesota's roster. Why wouldn't they get the guy they want AND get extra value from trading back. Everyone thinks they want Isaac (probably true) or Collins/Markkanen, but if Isaac is off the board their target will be OG.

they are not worried about OG knees?

If teams were worried enough about his knees that he would drop he wouldn't have been invited to the green room.

he wouldn't be the first guy to get an invite then not get picked, but I tend to agree with you.

Tonight's the night . I wonder if Woj is going to be spoiling the picks now that ESPN hired him?

Please don't let Cho trade this pick for anyone on the block not named Porzingis. I think he's a diva but I would still trade 11 for him.

Telling Cody that hes still apart of our core and the Howard trade had nothing to do with him the trading him 2 following nights wouldn't be well received. I don't see that happening, at all.

What's the matter with the ESPN coverage? (I live in Spain so I have no clue regarding that, i'll just watch it with the Spanish official TV for the NBA)

I agree with MPM with my parameters for a happy and content number eleven. However, I wouldn't be against Kennard. I believe he is gonna be better that what we are giving credit for (although yesterday declarations by Clifford cast a lot of doubts regarding his viability as our pick)
