Training camp officially starts on Sept 26th. I assume Media Day will be day prior. First preseaon game is Oct 2nd. We're so close

Monk makes it really easy to believe in him. Most guys in the NBA (and pro sports in general) project confidence, but the extent to which it is real varies. Monks belief in himself comes off as 100% real. Its also a calm sort of confidence (think Kemba) rather than the "showy" kind that is often a sign of insecurity. Dude already seems like he has ice water in his veins and doesn't seem like someone who will be deterred or have his confidence undermined if things don't always go his way.

Today is media day, lots of pics and interviews on the immediate horizon.

Cliff sets high expectations of defense and offense. If we achieve those rankings, we'll be top 5 in East. Clifford doesnt see us at top 5 in East.

Frankly, I don't see the point in keeping a journeyman, 3rd string, D-league, PG, with no prior experience in our offense on the roster if he's hurt heading into training camp, especially considering our 2nd string PG is also hurt. If he isn't ready for minutes by opening day, cut him and find someone ready to give us minutes when needed.
