Kawhi stating he only wants to play in LA is huge. They will need a point if Bron goes there as well. Ball is too young and his Dad would disrespect LeBron one too many times. That's my bet on where we trade Kemba.

Knowing what we know now, if you were to put Ingram and Ball in this year’s draft, I’d have Ingram in my top-three, with the possibility of being the top pick (I’m pretty high on Ingram). I’d have Ball somewhere in the 7-10 range.

Knicks met with Bamba camp, angling for #4 + Parsons.

At least we aren't the Magic, they're gone half a decade without a starting point guard.

Has a new wrinkle on the Cliff wanting Mitchel story near the start of this bit:
On a predraft episode of The Lowe Post, ESPN’s Zach Lowe and Jonathan Givony told the tale of then–Hornets head coach Steve Clifford lobbying for Charlotte to take Donovan Mitchell in last year’s draft. Clifford was so animated that he reportedly climbed on a table to make his point.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

He probably climbed up there to swear on the top of a huge stack of bibles that he'd make sure Monk never saw any meaningful minutes the next season.

It's way too early to say Mitchell is better than Monk or good at all. MCW had a good rookie year too.... I'll decide whether Mitchell is the real deal when he plays an important role in a meaningful game. I just don't think his athleticism is good enough to maintain what he did rookie year. Monk is the skill guy. We'll see if he can hit the mark. Dude is going be youngest guy on team another year, right? Well, I guess he is 1 month older than Miles.

I guess you didn’t watch the playoffs then. I’m hoping monk will come good as well, but Mitchell has already had his meaningful successes in important games

I mean... say what? 24ppg, 6rpg, 4apg in 11 playoff games, while making it further in playoffs than hornets have been in 20 years.

this monk v mitchell debate reminds me of felton vs paul in 2005. one was a future HoF and one was a future spunky love chunks.

prove me wrong monk. do it. i dare you. best crow ever.

Meaningful.. I mean like game 7 conf finals... half the league goes to the playoffs

Mitchell's usage is through the roof so of course his stats are going to be padded

The goalposts keep moving in these Mitchell debates. Would any of us care if one of our players dragged our team to the second round of the playoffs averaging 24 points a game but did so with a 29% usage rate? No, of course not.

The point I'm trying to make is that Mitchell is an athletic guy that has the ball in his hands a lot. The thing is; he isn't very efficient. A lot of players could mimic his stats given the same opportunity; including Jeremy Lamb.

It's one thing to say we don't know what Monk will be yet. I completely agree with that.

But it's a real dumb argument to compare MCW's rookie season to Mitchell's, and to say Mitchell didn't play in any meaningful games.

Calling me dumb without backing it up... Real mature.

By the way, Mitchell had a 1.1 bpm for the season. Lamb had a 0.9. Mitchell's bpm in the playoffs was 1.3. For anybody watching at home, Lamb's was a 12.8 in 2016.

His teammates are a lot more valuable than some here like to give credit for.

Let's stop fantasizing about other team players and recognize some of our own..
