The euro stereotypes made him fall, its the only explanation. He is like if Manu was 6-8 instead of 6-5 or whatever he was.

I felt like I was on crazy pills during last years draft process when it became clear that Doncic wasn't going #1. The only other player that deserved to be in the conversation was JJJ, but of course Bagley and Ayton both end up going before him (and JJJ) and then he gets traded for Trae Young...
The Trae Young trade made my head explode. Dallas pick is looking like it's going to be out of the top 10. (Though ATL is in the sweepstakes for top pick.)

that actually is pretty damn interesting.
have heard/read that they have plans to enter the EuroLeague with time. they have caught my attention in the last few months that they actually might be on their way to being a profitable organization. other than that European basketball is pretty much a waste of money.

Re: Around the NBA 10
They have a wild card and Asvel will play in Euroleague next two seasons.
Btw they have a pg prospect with nba potential - Maledon - who is worth watching. The almost opposite of Ntikilina, a score first pg, but great size, handle and good on pnr's but limited defensively even though he can make plays at time on that end.
There is another prospect in the future (he is 16) who is borderline nba material, Juhann Begarin (though Batcho should be the next big thing for us for that generation, something like an agressive Boris diaw).
And yes, euroleague teams loses money, even though that's nothing new (in the past some top teams have disappeared because they were backed up by Oligarchs that left after a while, local sponsors which have given up etc). Euroleague is only profitable for the organization.
Only France (to my knowledge) has rules that prevent (normally) bankrupcy from pro teams.

Here’s an interesting comment on SGA, my desired pick, from Durant. I like Miles, but fear we missed again....

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I wanted SGA too
I think Miles is going to be a solid player for us, and fills a need more than SGA, but I think in time we will have outsmarted ourselves again on draft night

Re: Around the NBA 10
I thought SGA would’ve been perfect to not only compliment playing alongside Kemba but to succeed him as the team’s primary playmaker into the future whether Kemba was traded, left via free agency, or stayed.
I think people slept on SGA because he wasn’t very flashy or uber athletic. All I noticed was the production and the winning results during his time at Kentucky and that’s why I was high on him.

I liked SGA as well as he just seemed perfect next to Kemba and monk. Would’ve worked with Parker as well

Once you learn how to shoot the mid-range, I feel like the three-ball is going to be easier for you to shoot

^ The main reason most of those guys couldn't shoot threes was because their midrange form and 3pt form were completely different.

I’m surprised they trusted him enough to play garbage minutes but that is an odd cherry on top.

"Noah’s partying was well known and young players, including fellow Frenchman Frank Ntilikina, were told not to go out with him, according to a source."

Batum didn't get that message I don't think.

The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Re: Around the NBA 10
I'm clearly biased because he was one of my favourite players while in Madrid, but should Doncic get consideration for the All-Star? This (2:10) was crazy
