Well I guess Zeller will be out for the foreseeable future. **** getting annoying.

Oh, here we go with the Zeller mystery injury again.

There seems to be no sense of urgency to win this year. If the organization doesn't care then why should the fans?

I'm confident MCW and Zeller could play, especially in limited minutes, but we're holding them out anyway. It's the home opener and we need to win, we aren't going to be able to do that with almost half of our rotation not playing.

last thing we need is for Cody to have lingering bone bruise in knee. last time he missed damn near 6 months.

but that Hornets medical staff...

btw, now would be a good time for Frank's RedHot to show up. Just sayin'...

Half of the team is out, we're playing 5 guys that deserve significant rotation minutes (Kemba, Dwight, Marvin, Lamb, and Frank), two rookies, and a decent reserve in Graham who is himself coming off an injury. It's debatable if that team is better than a healthy Atlanta squad, I'd argue it isn't.

I still think we will have way more talent on the court tonight. I'm more concerned about how terribly unprepared and disorganized we looked in game one than I am about all the injuries. We have enough talent to get the job done against a bottom of the barrel team like Atlanta. Having said that, I'm not going to be surprised if we look like garbage again and lose. If we start losing games like this one then hopefully Cliffords seat starts to get hot.

With four guys out my boy Mangok should be active tonight. Hell he may even be the backup center.

By the way, how'd I miss that MCW's issue is the plural "knees"?

MCW had platelet-rich plasma treatments in both of his knees 3 months ago, he can play. Our staff is either being insanely conservative or we're sitting him on purpose to play Monk at PG more. That's the right call for the long-term but I'd rather we not do that when we're already down Batum and MKG.

I'm also happy we did the right thing and let MKG be with his family, but he's been out for over two weeks now. I was out for 5 days when my grandmother passed away last year, and she was more or less my Mom growing up.

I'm not expecting much from MCW when he returns. He already looked like he was on his way out of the league and he missed the entire offseason.

Its super irritating we just started and half the guys are hurt already

Atlanta is garbage we should still beat them with ease.

Please don't let us lose to Atlanta

Dwight playing against ATL and Cody is out so he's going to get a ton of minutes. Good test of his professionalism.
