I really wasn't expecting the Magic to start like they have. Agree that it will be interesting.

What is up with the Magic. It’s basically the same collection of players they’ve had except they’re all on fire now. Are they legit or just a hot start that will level out? Really need to get a win here. I won’t get too down when we lose to teams like the Rockets at home while we are undermanned but we better find a way vs Orlando.

Vucevic was always a great long 2 shooter but now he extended it to the 3pt line. Huge step forward from Aaron Gordon, and Jonathon Simmons was a great signing. Maybe Payton being out helps us as well

Good game today. I want you to do well because I like some of your players and I have Batum on my fantasy team. But obviously hoping for a Magic win

Aaron Gordon’s been going nuts lately.

Wonder if we’ll play Marv or MKG on him?

We really can't afford to drop this one. Rested at home vs Orlando needs to be a win if we are a playoff team this year.

Magic are a joke. Not buying their early season success. Stop Fournier and all the chips fall.

The Magic definitely aren't a joke. Pretty decent team with a nice rotation full of guys who don't suck. We've got FOUR guys in our starting lineup that shouldn't be there... this season is like a textbook theory test in sub-optimal lineup experimentation. Future generations of coaches will study us... "here's how you can take a roster full of mostly good players and go below .500"

Currently Orlando has the 2nd best offense and a top 10 defense. It's early but that's impressive. Their big thing so far has been hitting tons of 3s. The Hornets will need to bring them back to Earth if they want to win.

They failed to stop the Rockets at the three-point line, though to be sure, Orlando does not have a player the caliber of Harden.

I have always liked Frank Vogel. Nice to see him start to bring some success to the Magic.

ORL hired GM John Hammond away from MIL, guy seems to have the Magic touch. Maybe having a consistent philosophy about what type of player a team wants - length, athleticism and 3 point shooting - is helpful?

'17 ORL 3 pt shooting:
Aaron Gordon 73%
Evan Fournier 56%
Jonathon Simmons 45%
Nicola Vucevic 45%
Mario Hezonja 83%
DJ Augustin: 53%

Cody Zeller able to guard Vucevic out to the 3 pt line might prove the key.

Well at least I'll get an extra paycheck this month by betting under 211 points tonight in this game.

Seems ridiculous. Our defense will slow them down, plus they can't shoot this well all year... and no way we're putting up points tonight

Well we've already wasted two possessions throwing the ball to Dwight and the next time down we get MKG a midrange jumper. This is a travesty Clifford. I'm on the Fire Cliff bandwagon officially after this game.

Looks like Coach is trying to get the Magic into foul trouble with Dwight. Seems forced, if it's there take it.

MKG should start, but i otherwise agree. Cliffords entire career is a case study in bad lineup management.

Not a whole lot of defense from either team so far. The Magic have missed a few open shots. The Hornets are not blocking out.
