MEM is 5-1 with 10+ point wins over HOU (2X), GSW, and NOP. Their one loss was to DAL though, so maybe we have a chance.

Second game of B2B with this one on the road, will be very impressive to get a win.

Hopefully we go in and win in Memphis like we did last year

Looking for Monk to have a good bounceback game tonight. Bench is going to be key in this one.

The problem I see with Monk is he's playing too fast. He's used to the college game and high school where he is just a lightyear ahead of everyone. NBA players are very disciplined and Monk won't get away with a lot. He needs to slow the game down mentally and focus on the fundamentals.

I actually thought Monk's PG skills looked way better last game, he had a couple nice assists. His shooting has been the primary issue.

Interesting that Bacon got 27 minutes last night, more than MKG and almost as much as Marv. Gonna be real interesting to see how PT gets allocated when MKG, Cody, and Frank are all fully up to speed in the rotation.

I can't decide how opposed I am to having both Dwight and Cody on the floor at the same time. In the off-season I didn't think I'd ever consider it, but there's something about running Kemba - Lamb - Bacon/Graham - Cody - Dwight that seems to really work.

I've got no problems with Monk at PG so far and I'd prefer he keep the role. The misses don't really bother me atm. As for running things, he looks better to me already than what I imagine the 2 back ups we've signed will look like. Plus, eventually his shot will come around as he figures things out.

Regarding Dwight and Cody I didn't think it could work offensively but defensively I think it can be really nice. Cody's fast and long enough to keep up with and thwart the quick shooting PF's or SF's masquerading as PF's. I'm starting to lean towards liking it.

It would be nice of Monk became another Kemba Walker. According to stats we'd be 5-1 or 6-0 if Kemba never left the floor. Monk should look at what Kemba does when he's on the bench and then incorporate some of those things into his game

I get why he's playing PG...we have no one else right now, and Coach thinks he's too small to play 2 full time....but I just don't think it's smart to force him into a position he isn't prepared to play.

I think its fine and probably good for him. He doesn't seem like the type whose confidence will be shook, so I think the learning experience can be good for him.

ORL made Oladipo play PG when he wasn't capable, and he sucked. But boy does Oladipo look great now. Its done him wonders. There are other examples as well.

Problem is we are trying to win and can win in the East this year so we can't give experience to sacrifice wins.

Hes had stat lines like that before and put up huge numbers countless times, but he is doing it now with such little effort.

One of Monk's greatest strengths is C&S jumpers. Whatever position he plays, we need to get him in those situations.

He really needs a secondary ballhandler to be at max efficiency. Pretty much just like Kemba does.

Nitpick but I hate how NBA games don't actually start at their scheduled time, but rather 8:07 or 7:38 or sometimes as late as 10 minutes after. Its super annoying! NFL games kickoff on the dot.

I'm worried about this game. Marc Gasol is crazy good and a terrible matchup for us. Cody can't guard him inside and he can shoot 3s now, which will draw Howard out of his comfort zone.

Need to take care of the ball for all wings more than usual. Can't afford them transition buckets, which they excel at.

Bench will have a tough job today, hope MKG wil have extended minutes (and will manage it witout early fouls).

So far, 2016 version of Lamb...

Need to wake up with box out and rebounding the ball...
