Charlotte killed CDR's love of basketball

“I just was done. After I played in Charlotte, it was different. I don’t want this to be me versus basketball, because it was just me not wanting to do it anymore. I can still be playing — be working out and doing all of those things, but I just don’t want to anymore. I know this is a rare case and that’s why people say, ‘basketball was done with him.’ It was all me. I have no hard feelings with basketball. I just don’t want to do it anymore.”

Emphasis is mine.

It was unfair that he didn’t get more playing time nevertheless re-signed after how well he played for us. I understand how the politics could kill your desire for basketball. We played better with CDR on the floor rather than Hendo but per usual Clifford gonna Clifford. It killed our chance to get at least 1 win on Miami in that playoffs series not to play CDR more.

Really like CDR, but that is the definition of soft.

How is that soft to change your focus from basketball to other things that you desire?

I googled Supreme Bey and didn't find much of anything except a random Youtube user named Supreme Bey. From there, I found out that there is now a rapper called Lil Poopy. What is wrong with this world? Yes, I know Poopy probably has some hidden meaning, it's still dumb.

The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Love CDR. I still follow him on Twitter. He was always a different dude than the rest. I love that he just decided he wanted something else in his life. Good for him.

100% with you. He's a guy who I really hope for nothing but happiness for.
