Have semi-courtside seats in this one. Sec 113 Row A1, the floor seats. Anyone familiar enough with the arena to know if there is any seats in front of me? The pictures at hornets.com say no.

Cbarlotte might win. Not necessarily what I meant when I said that we need to shake things up but it’s something.

Time for max contact batum to step up and be more aggressive. So sick of his soft European soccer style type play. This is USA and this is basketball. Either he steps up or move out of the way and let Lamb take over the starting spot.

Just looked and saw we are favored to win this one by 8 points in vegas. I'm so confused.

Never sat that close before, but I think there are tickets that say courtside on them, so probably only those seats will be directly in front of you. Would love to see a picture from those seats if you get one.

Erm... Because Frank, Lamb, Monk, Bacon are tough players ? Rookies can get away with the criticism because you cannot expect much, but the first two are even softer than Batum. Even if Batum did not really use his size on post up this season (except couple of games since his return).
Even Kemba is the defender we know (but still able to do the right play at times, and not afraid to provoke a charge).
Which echoes to Clifford asking since years for "physicality" from players who are not able to provide any sample (or not on a consistent basis).

There are court side seats which are separate. Then seats at floor level began with AA, BB, CC, and then moves on to regular rows. A, B, C etc...
Not sure if it’s the same behind the backboard.

Watching the game with diehard Magic fans (they exist) tonight at a house party. Recently moved to Orlando so been to a handful of games @ Amway Center - you think Charlotte fans have it bad - Magic have just been an awful team to have to root for over the last several years.
In terms of tonight's game, I guess I'm lucky to have seen more of the Magic than any non-fan should really have to, so know their team a bit.
DJ remains mega-sucky (still has that nice shot - or at least nice form), Biyombo has taken a large step backward in terms of intensity (dodged that $17mm bullet), Isaac will remain a big wait and see for now, not sure what they hell is going on with Hezonja, then you have a handful of journeyman that may or may not be capable of hurting you every 4th or 5th game; Ross, Simmons, Speights, etc.
So, they basically hang their hat on Gordon (who seems to have finally figured it out), Fournier (who I've never liked), and Vooch (who is what he is, albeit with a hint of a 3 pt shot these days).
If Vooch can find his range from the get-go, Dwight is gonna struggle with him on D - this looks like a bad matchup for us. Vooch isn't a knock down 3 point shooter, but he has legit above the line range at this point and enough size to bother what remains of Dwight's ISO post moves. Hoping Marvin/Gordon is a zero-sum matchup for us, but we have to guard him at the arc - he's shooting 43% from 3 this year. MKG "should" have his way defensively with Fournier. Kemba should do well against Payton, and, god, DJ would be a dream matchup for Monk if Clifford doesn't insist on MCW. Think this is a win if we don't get surprised by any of the random crew above. I could easily see Speights or Ross dropping 4-5 from 3 on us in limited minutes. Expectations are low, my friends.

Batum is soft as a cupcake. I have literally never seen him show any aggression in the court. He plays like a European soccer player. I understand that's his style and it usually works when Kemba is healthy but we just saw few games without Kemba and batum showed no aggression or any heart whatsoever.

I guess you missed the point. I mean the whole wings minus MKG (and Marv to a lesser extent) are soft.

So if you are a Hornets fan you have to do this backcourt crown club thing at least once. Surreal when you post on forums all year about a team then meet the players as they come out of the lockeroom and stand next to them. Nic Batum is a handsome fella. I honestly don’t know how Elfrid Payton plays with this hair.
Also I just walked by Bonnell. No mistaking that fellow

Silas gonna be the coach tonight. Might be transitioning into the end of the Clifford era. Clifford is just sick. Let’s see if Silas is deserving.
