building on the stat - Kemba 0-for-15 in last 3 mins when tied or trailing by 2.

the entire team is 1-for-33 in that situation this year according to this stats.nba link

https://stats.nba.com/players/clutch-traditional/?sort=FG_PCT&dir=-1&Season=2017-18&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&TeamID=1610612766&ClutchTime=Last%203%20Minutes&PerMode=Totals&AheadBehind=Behind%20or%20Tied&PointDiff=2

ONE FOR **** THIRTY-THREE!!!!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?

shooting 32% as a team in last 5 mins, in games w/in 5 pts, obviously last in league, 14.8% from 3. Seems we'd be better off just letting MKG shoot 3s to end games. Or MCW trying to make layups.

i fail to see how this can't fall on coaches - lineups, play calling, time outs etc...

Bad coaching and predictable offense where everything runs through Kemba. Cliff plays like a prevent D in the clutch where we do the most basic offense sets so our guys can get back on defense. It's horrific and he should be fired.

This is actually a collection of the most remarkable stats I've ever seen. We knew it was bad BUT WHAT THE HELL!?!

Can we send this to someone on the Hornets so they can look at it?

Whatever the plan is during that time of the game doesn't work. In fact, it's almost hard to be that bad even if we were just not trying. I am both laughing and angry at the same time because it's that ridiculous.

I guess other teams watch the film on us and know exactly what's coming. It's a miracle we won that Washington game in OT that time. This cannot continue like this.

I feel like if we let MCW shoot layups in crunch time with our existing stats, we'd some how lose two games at the same time. It's so bad the league gives us a loss plus takes a previous win away because we no longer deserve it.

Last season our DRTG was ranked 29th in clutch situations. This year it's ranked 4th.

I don't know man.

I think the most ludicrous thing about this is that Clifford keeps doing the same thing and playing the same players expecting different results.

How in the world were we so bad in close games last season when our clutch offense was 5th best in the league? So little about this makes sense.

I'm inclined to believe that Howard being in our closing lineup this season is potentially the driving factor, but it can't just be that.

Edit: I just saw that your last post kind of answered my first question.

the more i think on all this, the less i'm really wanting to fire cliff.

i'm thinking cliff is stuck throwing poo at the wall more than anything these days.

Also, apologies if this exists somewhere else but does anyone know what Frank and MCW’s total +\- rating for the year is so far? Is it in the negative triple digits yet?
