How in the hell did the Cavs manage to get rid of their garbage and get George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, and Larry Nance? Don't know if it will work but they got very young, and better.

We aren't gonna have any money til 2020 anyway, and that would make it 60 million in expirings in 2019-2020

Howard + Kaminsky (maybe + 2019 protected 1st?) for Love + Zizic also works.

Tank this season and go into next year with...

Kemba/Monk
Lamb/Graham
MKG/Batum/Bacon
Love/Marv
Cody/WHG/Zizic

+ MLE
+ 2018 1st
+ 2018 2nd
+ New coach

Love to find a way to acquire Aaron Gordon or Julius Randle, since it looks like we aren't selling to tank.

Well league has profit sharing, so they know Lebron is a big draw. More money for the league so it's in everyone's best interest to make sure Lebron always has talent around him.

Doesn't look like we're doing anything. I would trade Marvin for rubio or something.

Read on Twitter

Feels like more has to be coming. CLE, TOR, WAS, MKE all reported to be in the DeAndre Jordan sweepstakes.

Clifford likes our backup point guard situation and wanted another center. Willy is all we are gonna get.

I don't understand why you continue to mock Cliff because of the Willy trade. Even if it just was for C depth, don't get why that's so bad. It wasn't super fun to watch JOB play C. Absolute worst case scenario, we have a cheap solution for any C injuries for the next two seasons.

Center depth is literally the last thing this team needs more of. Our roster is currently pretty unbalanced (as always) because we are trying to give Clifford the roster he wants for his horrible coaching style. We have four rotation worthy centers and not a single even semi playable backup PG and a general lack of perimeter scoring/shooting. Putting the kind of resources and roster space we have into the center position and traditional bigs is the exact opposite of what you want to be doing right now, especially because of the kind of bigs Clifford tends to like and his general misunderstanding of modern positions.

Marv = PF/C
Frank = C/PF
Cody = C/PF
Willy = C
Dwight = C

I still like the Willy trade because it makes sense from a value standpoint in just about any context and he is a young and interesting player. My dislike of Clifford and the effect he has on the roster/organization has gotten to the point where I can't help but complain him constantly. I get that it is probably a bit annoying.

So, given all that, you think (a) Cliff demanded that we trade for a C and (b) our FO decided it was more important to listen to Cliff than address positional need?

Seems much more likely that we found a young prospect that we knew we already liked and that was available for cheap and we pulled the trigger and decided we would sort out the roster later.

Feels like it's just a way for you to blame Cliff for something that he likely had very little to do with. Particularly odd because you yourself like Willy.

Everyone should just be preparing for MCW to be our new starting PG.

Its not really about the trade. The problem existed before and independent of the Willy trade (I love that we get to say Willy constantly now). Our roster was already stacked with centers and I absolutely blame Clifford's influence for this. The Willy trade just compounds it, despite still being a good deal. Whether or not the trade happened specifically because of Clifford doesn't really matter (it was probably both because he fits Cliffords system and the opportunism you mentioned)

Like I said, I'm just annoyed beyond my breaking point and can't pass up vague reasons to complain about Clifford. Your last sentence isn't that far off. However, its not so much that I'm blaming him for the trade, but rather that I am blaming him for a specific roster issue that the trade compounds, and for liking MCW in general, and using this as an opportunity to complain about him.

I'd sign off on that in a heartbeat if Randle would re-sign!

Some of you make this forum so hard for me to visit anymore... Like... Why put so much energy and time into something you hate so much? Discussion, banter, speculation... All fun. Constant, vitriol filled, nonsense... What's the point?

At least we get to keep Kemba, the more I thought about trading him the more sad I got, I was there literally praying (I still have the picture of me with my hands in praying hands motion) he'd fall at the Bobcats Draft Party and I was there the first time he ever checked into an NBA game and when he scored his first point, hit his first shot, free throw, etc. I think a part of me would have literally died if we traded him. It's hard to believe a person could be so attached to a player and team that if it weren't for bad luck, it would have no luck at all! I literally couldn't sleep last night! :(

Now let's focus on the future and getting a new GM to fix us in the offseason somehow without trading a player that is the heart and soul of Charlotte and The Carolinas!
