Gentry outcoached Clifford by putting AD back on the floor when he knew Clifford would be doing his preset rotation of 5 bench players.

I confess that I hate when I see Frank drive to the rim off the dribble.

The more meaningless these games become the more lazy on top of lazy Dwight becomes.

The Pelicans lineups are so odd but I don’t knock it looking at their roster. They start 3 guards, two of them point guards and a undersized combo guard. They just stagger them into the 2nd unit and barely play their bench outside of Mirotic.

Emeka might be better than Dwight. I wish I would’ve got to witness the young Emeka in the NBA. How was he for the Bobcats? And why was he ran away?

Batum is a better interior defender than I thought. He definitely should be transitioning into a stretch 4. He just altered AD’s shot a couple times while Frank just watched.

Kemba has been so anti-clutch the past 2 seasons. I’m hoping for a loss anyway.

He’s a lazy sieve that isn’t good for anything but being a big that can shoot 3s.

Emeka was pretty overrated on this forum when he was here. A lot of posters thought he was going to be this multiple time All-Star when we traded him to New Orleans back when they had Chris Paul. He was okay. Was really passive. Became invisible for long stretches where you’d forget he was on the court. Was soft in the paint on offense. Got his shot blocked a ton. Will never forget Larry Brown screaming at him from the sidelines “dunk the f*cking ball Meka!” after several lazy ass layup attempts. Was low-key not a good man-to-man defender. Anyone over 6-11 would score over him with ease and anyone with any quickness or a jumper could score on him rather easily. But he was a good help defender and rebounder and would still somehow end up getting twelve or so points a game.

Trading him for Tyson Chandler was a great trade in theory considering Emeka's awful contract at the time and how good Chandler was in his prime. Except, Chandler was injured and played like ass the one year he was here.

Yep sad that our game threads have basically disappeared, due to lack of desire, passion and investment. I don’t pretend to speak for anybody, but sadly admit I want us to lose every game in hopes of enhancing by a smidgen our chances for a better pick.

I just don't like watching the team now. It was fun seeing Monk get some PT, but I'm past that.

Waste of God given talent in my opinion. Had all the tools. Basketball was never his number 1, or even 2 focus in life. He always seemed happy so good for him. Loved his damn yoga.

Am I the only one impressed by that super uneffective line-up that Cliif put in the game when we had a 6 points lead with 5min to play? I think it was something like:

Kemba - Monk - Lamb - Graham - Frank

They couldn't run a good play for like 2 mins and the Pelicans took a 1 point lead back in 2 min.

I know Dwight gets a lot of hate around here... But really, he was good tonight
