Former player at Butler who played for Brad Steven's. He also some experience coaching under Stevens. Nored is also part of the team USA staff working under Jeff Van Gundy as they compete in the FIBA world qualifying games.

He played with Hayward at Butler. So he's really young, but he seems to have a great head on his shoulders.
JB now has 3 coaches hired for his staff:
Jay Triano (Lead Assistant)
Jay Hernandez
Ronald Nored
Not bad considering that the Pistons, Magic, and Raptors have yet to even hire a head coach.

I like this hire a lot even though I know very little about the guy. Seems really smart and able to connect with the players on and off the court.
