Re: NBA Draft Thread
I do think it has the potential to be really interesting. I have no idea how the top 10 picks are going to shake out.
At 11, I think the most likely outcomes are the Hornets just keeping the pick (40-50%) or trading the pick paired with one of MKG, Marv, or Nic (30-40%). Trading Kemba seems unlikely but possible (10-20% maybe).

My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Mid-lottery is pick 7/8. I think we're about to see a Harden for Lebron trade go down.

Re: NBA Draft Thread
I love that Miles is getting smeared with the tweener label. The way I see it is he's a physical small forward in certain matchups and a swift PF in others depending on the situation. He can play up tempo. He can bully in the paint. He has a nose for the basket. He has confidence. He has more experience. He played under a legit college coach. He can finish with either hand and score inside or out. Get him or die!

If we trade 11, I hope we do it sooner rather than later. That Marco trade was a big bummer to my draft watching experience.

No way! Morey is trying to build a Super Team with LeBron + The Beard + CP3.

Not even Morey can manage the cap that well unless both Lebron and Chris Paul take massive paycuts (

nah I can't see that. If I'm Houston I probably don't even do that deal. Harden is probably the league MVP this year and it took his all-star teammate getting injured and a pair of massive 2nd half meltdowns for the Warriors to beat them. LeBron is rumored to not like the city of Houston much, and could easily bolt in a year. If they're getting LeBron, it's to pair him with Harden.

How else are the Rockets getting a mid-lottery pick if Harden isn't on the market? The only other players they have who approach having that value (Chris Paul and Capela) are both free agents this summer. If the Rockets are getting a pick that high Harden has to be on the move. Also, the risk of Lebron being able to bolt in a year is why they'd be getting the 8th pick in addition to him.

Re: NBA Draft Thread
The simple answer to the Rockets question: they're just not getting the pick lol. I could maybe see them getting a pick outside the lottery, but they simply do not have what it'll take to jump that far

They don't.
I really don't think they have the pieces to get one unless they seriously jeopardize the future with a deadweight albatross contract or dealing a ton of future picks.

Houston most likely wants to get one of the Bridges to replace Ariza.

Latest mock draft group: https://hoopshype.com/2018/06/20/nba-mock-draft-consensus-top-prospects-latest-update-rumors/
Miles is further back for a reason. At this point at 11 I say it’s one of Collins, Knox, Mikal or SGA.

Say we do the Kemba trade with the 8th pick coming back. Any chance that Atlanta would do a pick swap?
Atlanta gets 8 and 11
Hornets get 3 and 19
