Miles can shoot threes.

36% on those short ass college lines is not impressive at all. We literally came away with the guy whose skill set helps us the least. Dude can't even dribble or play make, but thank god we have another **** high character hustle guy!

His dribble isn't that bad. That is a fabricated lie that has been said over and over. Just like I had to hear over and over we were going to trade Kemba.

I guess the bright side is that tickets will be free by November. The Hornets have to be the worst-run franchise in sports. There is nothing worse.

A compulsive gambler of an owner with a bunch of college buddies running a laughingstock of a sports team. It's the modern day "Semi Pro."

The scouting reports on him are brutal. Sounds like he shouldn't even go in the 1st round. Lol. Hope he proves some people wrong. The ESPN highlight clip wasn't very impressive for sure.

We moaned about not valuing 2nd rounders for years, and the basketball gods apparently sent us a GM to remedy that complaint. If Miles was our guy anyway it was a good move extracting some value. SGA seemed more exciting to me, but I know basically nothing about any of these kids.

Porter must have serious health issues.

I'm not upset with the miles pick. MUCH BETTER THAN SGA at least from a fun point of view, I just think we coulda got more by trading back. There are quite a few players left who will have better careers than he will

I sure hope so man. All offense Ive been trying to get guys to sell me on him and I got no response. Just look like another hustle guy to me who can occasionally hit a three

Eh, I still think Porter would have been the better pick.

Once they compared SGA to MCW I almost had a stroke. Don't know what's up with Mitch with stockpiling all the seconds but he played the Clippers well. Miles is a Tank and a small ball four in the mold of Julius Randle. I wonder what this means for Marvin?

I have contacted Charlotte about some of our second round options via twitter but I doubt it will help much

I don't think Miles is a bad pick. It does signal that we are going to try and compete this year WITH Kemba though. Porter Jr. would have been a total tank/rebuild move, and the fact we had SGA in the fold, but traded him away, means that we are keeping Kemba. I'm uncharacteristically ok with it, even though an hour ago, I would have thrown something at the TV.
Who I woulda took:
2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: Porter Jr | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

Lakers fans say one of the Buss kids are responsible for their late picks. Mitch sucks and has been riding off of Jerry West’s coattails more than Doc rides off of Thib’s. We are a joke and won’t even make it’ll the playoffs in the east again.

I am just not happy with Miles, but hard to see who I would have taken after trading back. MPJ is huge risk. Agree that Hornets targets were Sexton or Knox and both were gone.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

We still need a backup Pg if we are going to compete this year. More trades?

Also, maybe Miles can be a SF instead of a PF for us. Would increase our offensive production and spacing.

Can use MLE on a backup.
