I was wondering... Strictly from a player's perspective, isn't it better to get undrafted rather than get drafted in the 55-60 range?

Yeah he's a naturally skinny kid, but each year he's constantly filling that frame of his. The difference between the first photo and him right now is noticeable. That skinny frame is 1 of 2 of his biggest question marks. And that's something very fixable.

P.S. A year ago DraftExpress had him going at around 25-35 range.

A 6-9 forward, Kulboka averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 26.1 minutes in 29 games with Basket Orlandina in Italy’s Serie A league in 2017-18. He also played in 14 FIBA Champions League games for Basket Orlandina, earning Best Young Player honors after averaging 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 29.1 minutes.

It's unfortunate that he is not in the Lithuanian national team at the moment... Next weekend Hungary will host Lithuania to a WCQ match and I would've loved to see him in person. Well, Valanciunas, Sabonis, Kuzminskas and Maciulis will be there.

I don't know why, but I'm kind of excited about this guy. I mean to be able to shoot that well with his height. If he fills out a little bit and learns to play some defense he could easily get some minutes in a few years.

And yes to answer the previous question. Typically it is better to go undrafted then to get drafted very late in the second round. From what I understand there's a lot of negotiating between players agents and teams at that point as to which players are willing to be drafted and to come into summer camp to try to impress. Whereas undrafted players have the ability to pick and choose the best situations for themselves.

I actually had him right behind MPJ as far as potential goes and the type of career I think he could have. I would have rather taken Vanja but this guy could be a solid rotation player for us.

I personally would rather get drafted due to the fact that there is something about a team seeming to want to sign a player they drafted. I do agree with the flexibility you get by picking your location as an undrafted player but the pressure would be on imo. If an undrafted player has a poor summer league he can all but forget about being signed where as a second rounder could have one and still probably will get signed.

Not that my opinion matters much but during my depth chart ratings I actually had him rated ahead of knox and MPJ at one point. I think he has a bit of potential.

I like him too, even if he never plays for us. I just like that we finally are drafting and stashing guys overseas. This guy has 1st round potential, he just has 3-4 years to go, obviously

If he can be an athletic Steve Novak that would be a good get.

Definitely going to follow him after today. Huge project but well worth it at 55. Needs to gain 30 pounds

it's fun knowing we have a potential prospect stashed overseas instead of a wad of cash stashed in MJ's wallet

Why is this guy not playing more in the summer league? He got minutes the first game and then disappeared..

Brose Bamberg basketball club is on the verge of bankruptcy. Kulboka could end up without a team soon.
