Adam Morrison is an important player in the timeline of the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets. His selection would alter our draft selections and fortune for years. Thus, this thread can be used to discuss Adam Morrison.

I've always been fascinated by Adam Morrison in the NBA. I don't think there has ever been a player that has seemed so out of place. Is it true that he sometimes would go days without showering? I guess if you're in shape, you don't smell too bad, but this guy just looks like he eats beef jerky and cheese.

We had #2, #5, #3, and #8 2004-2007 and drafted Okafor, Felton, Morrison, Brandan Wright, respectively. We did Philly but forgot to get some talent scouts.

Few years ago (2012 if im not mistaken) my hometown team was in the EuroCup finals and Ammo was with Besiktas playing in the final four with us. I was hyped to see him even after everything in Charlotte... and he couldnt get into the squad.... he was the 6th foreign player where 5 was eligible to play. That hit me pretty hard. He was supposed to be the Bobcats savior, and not 10 years flash forward and he is the odd man out in a second tier European team. He gave up on basketball soon after this.

I swear I read an interview with him in college where he said he did it on purpose so people wouldnt want to get close to him to guard him/box out, etc.

The thing about Morrison thats interesting is that he was less of a bust than Brandon Roy. When Brandon got hurt he was still owed a lot of money on his contract where as we were able to cut ties with Morrison. I even asked that question on their board in portland after they were so thrilled to have Roy and several of them said they would rather have Morrison due to the fact that they could save money. The majority of players turn out bust. Next year we might visit our picks and see they are doing well but 3 years down the line could be a whole different story. Boozier comes to mind as well as a recent player who had a few decent seasons and now noone wants him. Same with MCW on our team.

Well when you come into the league with barely passable athleticism, knee injuries can be devastating.
