Amazon pop up. Something has to be done about it.

It has likely killed traffic here.

It's unreadable on mobile. Desktop is fine but I've given up using it on my phone.

I refuse to use separate apps for websites that should just work in a mobile browser. I'm not installing extra browsers with blocker add-ons either.

I feel like it works better from my tablet, but is still very poor. This is the only site I even attempt on my phone as I don't really use it to browse the internet, but it is unbearable when I do.

I switched to desktop on my mobile so now I can browse the site with my phone. But it's ridiculous the frequency that the fake gift card pops up. It finds my location whether I'm logged in or out on mobile and it happens right away. It's a very aggressive spam and possibly phishing program. Again, likely has killed traffic here.

Can't believe you use desktop mode. Go with either Tapatalk or Brave browser. Honestly for data privacy reasons you should be using Brave anyway.

I use chrome. Desktop is safe for chrome. Mobile apparently gives hackers opportunity. I think as long as you don't provide data you're safe. But that hacker is camped out here. It's likely posing as a vendor but the site should dump it. They're losing dollars in traffic.

Brave natively supports opting out of ads and tracking and forcing https. It's fantastic. I'm telling you, everyone should use it on mobile.

I visited the link while on mobile and the same ad appeared! The Brave browser sales pitch site is the ONLY other site where the Amazon fake gift card ad has appeared. Not very inspiring! I think changing browsers because of one ad on one site is odd. And now I'm suspicious! Lol. I do like that the programmer is the same as the one for Firefox.

That's not a Brave hosted site, so really you are just recognizing the flaws in chrome. I didn't see any ads on that site with Brave.

The link is sourced here, so it is possible that the tracking followed me there. But again, that's the only other site where I've seen the ad. I just read the CEO of the Brave browser opened the company to trade with its own cryptocurrency. I don't know how to read those markets and I was kind of hoping the company would try IPO and get on one of the traditional exchanges. There could be growth but the big players are very flexible, especially Google.

Re: Spam on RealGM out of control
Brave kills embedded tweets on RGM. Not Hornets planet or arfcom or any other places I frequent on mobile, just RGM. So **** annoying.
But if I use Chrome mobile I can pull a thread up for 5 seconds before an ad forces me to some spam url with an offer for a new iPhone X or to tell me my phone is infected. I can't back arrow to safety either. I have to close the entire page and reload RGM.
Whoever handles this domain is either dumb or stupid.

I've lost long posts in the middle of typing. To lose all that time is frustrating to say the least. This is the worst popup on the Internet. 100% has cost this site.

I'd say they're oblivious. They need to monitor traffic and identify lost opportunities. The source is a vendor. The spammer pays for access but they're taking more than they're giving.

Re: Spam on RealGM out of control
The spammer is literally draining traffic and likely paying very little for access. That traffic represents money to other vendors. They're all unwilling to purchase access because the numbers are down.

Re: Spam on RealGM out of control
I see the Amazon thing on several sites in chrome, don't think it's a problem unique to here. The realgm site is so mobile unfriendly anyway that I can't imagine browsing without tapatalk.
