Surprised Kemba hasn't got at least 1 in a few years.

Parker's intensity has been the most pleasant surprise for me, even more than his steady hand at the wheel. I was a little worried he might have come here as his low-expectation retirement home, just have fun and enjoy the rest of the ride. It's clear from what we've seen that he is definitely not resting on his laurels.

I loved watching him chew MKG out for not hustling back and keeping up the pace, even after MKG hit a jumper to salvage the possession and forced MIA to call timeout. TP knows what championship basketball looks like and he's trying to teach these young guys how to play perfectly not just passably.

I deplored his signing and squawked about the team recycling another old timer, but I loved this from Parker after the game last night:

"I don't know if I was nervous. It was a little bit of everything. They [the Hornets] told me before the game they wanted it for me. Then after the game I was like, 'Why don't we play like that every road game? C'mon, no excuses.' I am going to be on them now."

This is what we need to see more of. Get on their asses when they don't play well TP. That's what you're here for.

The second best backup PG we’ve had in the Kemba era behind only Lin.

We are 0-8 this season in games without Tony.

Y’all better put some respect on his name.

@philly
@atlanta
@okc
@Washington
@ sacramento on a b2b
@Milwaukee
@Boston
@Dallas

I can't find the last one. In most of those losses, the team badly needed defense, not scoring. They needed to get stops, not midrange jumpers or yelling at the ref to get some ft's..

at least 2 of those games tp would have carried the offense in the early 4th, perhaps giving us enough momentum to win.

Wow. Hornets would be maybe at 50% thanks to god Parker. Even if it was 5 games out of those 8 or 9, he is not reliable, plays on one side of the court and does not bring anything this team needs for its future. Nor that his association with Kemba brings anything baring something like 7 or 8 games out of the 55ish already played.
I can give him 110% credit for the win in SA, but that's about it.

Otoh, he never cost this team any loss surprisingly. Same stuff i have read for years in France. And it's been for close to 20 years.
