Cody is the easy choice here, I think he's going to shock some people with his play this year. He and Monk are both going to soar under our new coaching staff.

Center rotation should be
1. Cody
2. Frank
3. Billy/Biz (depending on matchups)

I'd like to see Cody start most nights, but on nights where Cody is outmatched physically, Biz should play more.

The bigger question is who is who plays more minutes as the immediate backup: Biz or Willy?

Is this a real question? Mitch only took back Mozgov only to get rid of Dwight and his act. And then traded Mozgov for Biz and picks... so he valued Mozgov as HIGHER than Biz, because in order for him to make the trade he demanded (AND GOT FROM ORLANDO) picks.

Biz has really has only two skills - Blocks and Rebounds. He can't shoot, catch passes, set screens, post up, or have any other meaningful basketball related skills. In the pick and roll, he's a freakin dumpster fire. In the pick and pop, he's even worse. He had one game in the playoffs for Toronto against the Cavs where he got a bunch of rebounds, and somehow turned that into a $17m a year deal.

Do you really think Biz has the basketball IQ to play in JB's quick decision offense? I would be surprised if he's anything more than a defensive specialist off the bench for 6 minutes a night.

Zeller will start.'

I think the more interesting question is who starts when cody gets hurt.

I think many of you will be surprised by the positive advanced statistical results the starting lineup will have with Biz on the floor. Maybe surprised isn’t the best word. I think oblivious to it will end up being the better term.

I'm a big fan of having guys in the rotation that can pass the ball. Especially bigs.

This is flawed analysis. Because he demanded picks doesn't mean he valued Mozgov higher than Biz, it means that he figured he could get picks. Its entirely possible to get picks and want the specific player more too. More than likely the same thing happened with Miles Bridges. We probably had him higher on our board than SGA, but... saw an opportunity to add picks. My opinion is the rotation goes Zeller/Biz and then Willy. I think they'll experiment with Kaminsky at center but ultimately he'll fall out of that rotation. For minutes, I'm going to say 25/15/8 (Zeller/Biz/Hernangomez) but I'd rather see something like 20/20/8.

I also like players who can play defense and give effort. We currently have a total of three players who fit that description on our entire roster and Biz is one of them (MKG/Cody/Biz). Hes also our only good rim protector and best individual rebounder.

Having said that, he should be our 3rd center and not play at all a lot of nights, but he does have some positive attributes that we'll need to utilize at times.

Pretty much. It means Clifford seriously does not like Biz to the point that their front office would give up picks to get rid of him.

Biz is a situational player that should be making half or less what he's currently being paid. That said however Clifford's disdain for him is a clear sign of how out of touch with the modern NBA he is. He still expects his bigs to be a focal point of the offense.

The starting center should be ........ Marvin Williams

I hope Cody is healthy enough to play

Frank is best as a center

I am happy with Biz out there

Willy is not good enough to get ahead of any of these other guys

A healthy Cody is an easy start. I want to move Frank up to the 5 off the bench though, he can't handle guarding the athletic stretch 4's.

Zeller is starting and I expect Willy and Biz to split minutes. If Zeller goes down... I'm already having Hawes flashbacks.

I'd say we're as deep as we've ever been at center. Biyombo is as good as he'll ever get, and Hernangomez has at least shown some potential. The reason I'd try to split the minutes up is to not overplay Zeller, so he doesn't go down with another injury.
