I'm stoked for the season to start, enough with the mediocre Panthers already

Might remind people why MKG is actually still important to the team.

I'd prob put Batum on Giannis, MKG will just get run over

I got Miles at 20 minutes. You taking the over or under on that?

I'd expect just under, somewhere around 15+. I'd love to see more though.

For some reason I have a hunch Borrego is going to play Marv and/or MKG than he did in preseason. I think he gave the youngsters a bit more time just to see what he had, he already knew what the vets bring. I also expect Parker to play a bit more (possibly even alongside Kemba), Monk to play a bit less and Graham not to play at all.

I'm hoping we get to a point where Monk/Bridges/Willy can all earn good minutes off the bench, mostly with Parker but also a few more with Kemba/Batum every game. Bench has looked very good, and fun, I am interested to see how much trust Borrego has in them right out of the gate.

My guess on the rotation:

Zeller (24) / Willy (16) / Frank (8)
Marvin (24) / MKG (16) / Frank (8)
Batum (30) / Bridges (12) / MKG (6)
Lamb (30) / Monk (18)
Kemba (36) / Parker (12)

MKGs defense is rather overrated, and has been for a while.

Good question. I'll take the under.

I'm sorry, who in the league can guard Giannis one on one

No one, but that doesn't mean you can get away with having Lamb or Batum guard him.

I'd prefer less minutes for Frank and more for MKG, Miles, and Willy. Something like...

Kemba (34) / Parker (Graham eventually) (10) / Monk (4)
Lamb (30) / Monk (18)
Batum (30) / Bridges (12) / MKG (6)
Marvin (24) / MKG (18) / Bridges (6)
Zeller (24) / Willy (20) / Frank (4)

The biggest threat Giannis poses now is the interior, and honestly our frontline is pretty thin in general. If Zeller gets into foul trouble, our interior defense basically falls off a cliff.

I don't mind Giannis on the perimeter at all lol. We're more or less okay out there. The way he's looked towards the end of last season and through the preseason, along with a much better coach to get him into his best spots, its a big matchup issue for us.

And not to defend MKG, but after two huge shoulder injuries and big personal problems to start the year I'm looking forward to seeing him progress again. That's a lot for any player to shake.

I think we need to see what Miles can do against him. Hes not disciplined enough yet to defend him for an entire game, but hes still our best matchup against Giannis from a purely physical standpoint. I'd like to see him get a couple short stints against him to see how he fares.

same but that's my prediction, not what I want. personally I think Biz needs action in this game but JB doesn't seem to be interested in playing him

Bucks fan, basketball is back at last! My wishes for health and success for both teams.

This is a tough match-up for us historically, and I really think the media has been sleeping on the hornets this year.
Let the best team win!
