OKC can’t F with us.
They will wage war against the Lamb but the Lamb will triumph them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings - and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers." Revelation 17:14 (NIV)

I've got a bad feeling about this. (Alec Guinness voice)

Would love to be surprised with another nice win though. Three wins in a row vs quality opponents and the pendulum of hot takes could swing from '"we suck forever" to "we turned the corner".

The hot takes are always on the back burner. They're ready to pounce and pout until Hornets win a first round. I absolutely love our GM and coach. I love our prospects as well. Even coming around on Bacon. I'm so delusional I even think JB can salvage Frank Kaminsky. JB said how what we don't see is how hard Frank has been working and in his post game Frank was saying how he's been asking questions and looking for ways to improve and went to JB right away when he was pushed out of the rotation. It didn't show up on the court but now I think it's obvious that Hernangomez is in Frank's head. If we were to deal Willy and keep Bacon, I don't think there's a drop-off from Willy to Frank. One rebounds better the other shoots and passes better and actually fits team play better.

Might not have been directed at me, but I don't think it's much of a hot take to point out that we have drastically underperformed relative to our net rating. Here's hoping that changes, because we currently have the #5 net rating in the league and #3 in the East, while sporting a win % ranked #16 in the league and tied for #7 in the East.

We could really use Kidd-Gilchrist for this one

Naw, not directed at anyone particularly. Just a playful jab at how we all as fans tend to swing between optimism and pessimism after a few big wins/losses.

I'm personally of the opinion we're on track, just relatively mediocre talent-wise but not totally without hope for improvement. Still sticking with my 43-39 prediction (barring major shakeup). I think that would be a positive outcome for year one of the new regime and sets up a respectable shot at retaining Kemba.

Parker out. Need a real strong game from Graham.

Over-under for Kemba minutes set at 38. I'm taking the over.

We’re missing a ton of players - Roberson, Ferguson, and Diallo. Russ has looked out of game shape the last two games. Noel got busted in the face last game after having missed the previous game with the flu. Grant rolled his ankle against the kings.

Not thrilled with that start. With that said, Kemba looks quicker than ever. His body control combined with his quickness and handles is crazy.
