I can see Charlotte biting on Steven Adams, who almost certainly be a casualty of this Thunder team who will shed cap and regroup
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Biz and mkg plus a first couldn't even get a rental in Gasol. Adams is a beast.

Would the Hornets trade BAatum + 12 +36 for cap space?

I heard Charlotte wanted lottery protection on the pick and Memphis wanted Top 8 or less. You guys didn't budge so the trade didn't happen.

Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Andrew Wiggins for Malik Monk, Batum, Biyombo

Saves the Wolves a ton of money, gives Charlotte 3 useful players for 3 players who contributed nothing in all of 2018-2019

Resigns Kemba

Charlotte rolls out with Kemba, Bacon, Covington, Saric, Zeller
Graham, Wiggins, Bridges, Marvin, 12 or Frank or Hernangomez

Wiggins has less pressure and is asked to score only off the bench as a super sub

Its a risk for Charlotte, but I would do it. Kemba and trash last season was 39 wins.

Then we figure out what to do with MKG, Zeller, and Hernangomez. Try to combine into one true center.

Eh, no thank you. I’d rather take the Derozan deal from the trade board.

I would easily do this deal.

You guys would want to take on that Wiggins contract? I wouldn’t touch that with a 10ft pole. It’s like trading Dwight Howard’s contract for Biz’s contract all over again. Only we lose Monk in this case and take on more sub par role players from a losing culture. No thanks.

A superstar is not signing here. So why do we need lots of capspace?

I did the best I could with our **** roster. We need players who can compete. Covington is good. Saric and Wiggins still have potential and can improve. Wiggins can be a microwave scorer off the bench easily. He would be better with less pressure on him.

I agree that players like Covington and saric would help us a lot !

We are probably best off building through the draft, but

Covington would be great here. Wiggins I want no part of.

Did you guys see the Game of Zones about Butler forcing his way out? Random cut out heart lands in front of Tibbs and Taylor.

"Is that Wiggin's (heart)?"
"No. Too big."
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

So if Kemba signs the supermax, I feel like there is a chance you guys will be trying to cut salary. If so, what are some ways that you could maybe get a piece back that could help long term?

I don't know if either team has interest in something like this but if Conley was moved for significantly less salary:

CHA in: Kyle Anderson
MEM in: Biyombo, MKG, #12, #36, CHA 2022 2nd

Someone else needs to check my math but I think that gets you under the luxury tax with maybe enough room left to sign Lamb as well. Anderson is 25, very good defensively, can be a secondary ball handler, but isn't a great shooter so you may need to address that another way. Memphis seems really high on Anderson so may not move him for a deal like this but was just throwing something out there. I realize this may not interest CHA too much but at least you get a useful player back instead of it being a pure salary dump.

So $28 million worth of expiring money

a lottery pick

a high (valuable) second rounder

and another second rounder

...for a chance to pay Kyle **** Anderson $9.5 million over the next three years? I mean, I'm probably not agreeing to that if I'm a GM.

Kyle Anderson had a solid start to last season. I'd do it but leave out the 2nd rounder, and only if it leaves enough money to resign Lamb. I don't honestly know what people expect to get for our trash.

$28 million in expiring contracts is not only far from trash, but it's the only thing that's going to help fix the roster after Kemba gets his huge deal.

$28 mil expiring, a lottery pick, and two seconds isn't far from what got Porzingod.

I'm good with leaving out the 2nd round picks. And yeah if it doesn't let you resign Lamb it isn't quite as appealing of a deal since you need his shooting.

I think for the next trade proposal there is something that needs to be said.
If we were to trade that #12 pick, Batum as to be attached to it.
