Also me when I tune in and see we're losing while Luke "I'll be playing for the Shanghai Sharks in two years" Kennard is dropping a cool 30 on us

Be nice to win to clinch season series, still not impressed with the team though.

I agree that our roster is pretty poorly balanced right now, but we had to blow a bunch of easy opportunities and be as un-clutch as a team could possibly be to end up only .500 at this point.
I'm usually more glass half empty, but I find it hard to not be a bit optimistic about our future. We have one of the youngest coaches in the league coaching in his first season with a pretty whack Clifford/Cho roster and we are still 8th in net rating and .500 basketball looks like its closer to our floor.
The biggest issue with this franchise is that the cap situation could potentially derail everything.

you say 'only' 500 like there aren't plenty of more talented teams than us who aren't at 500 though
gotta appreciate what we're doing, despite the opportunities lost. just being in the position to win at all is a testament to the coaching staff. these guys simply aren't as good as the record shows... jazz, pelicans, wolves, wizards - each has a much better roster than us

if people want to give boston credit for being a good team this year too then whatever. can't play it both ways
or do you want to prop up a portland team that got worse after getting swept on their homecourt in the first round of the playoffs? be consistent when you're factoring SoS or don't use it all (no one uses it outside of ESPN clown pundits who are short on material for the day)
NBA SoS has
always been overvalued anyways due to the effects of travel and the smaller talent gap between good teams/bad teams unlike college ball where out-of-conference play means you're either playing a top team or some agricultural school in the middle of nowhere where the tallest player is 6'5...
not attacking you or anything but you may as well use on/off when the backup is MCW

The referee crew tonight is pretty bad. They have missed about half the calls I've seen so far.

If the Pistons were not so sloppy, we would be losing this game. Please put Hernangomez back on the bench for tonight.
Two great moves by Bridges, though.

The pistons are basically as mediocre as we are but they have Blake and Drummond, both of whom are arguably having their best seasons of their careers.

I hope the lesson form new york game has been learnt because Pistons do everything they can to make Hornets believe it's gonna be a cakewalk.

This is one ugly game. Both teams look bad
