Just when you have a little hope with this team after the Nets win, you get this garbage. If Kemba starts the game cold, we are pretty much guaranteed to get down 10 to 15 in the 1st quarter.

Blazers just so much smoother with the ball. Clean screens. Getting their hands on all of the balls. Making shots tough for us. All of the things we don’t do consistently.

Just a miserable quarter by Cody Zeller. Was completely lost on defense and does nothing on offense.

We have a bunch of so-called defensive specialists yet continue to give up 30 point quarters like its nothing. Our team is seriously flawed. If Miles/Marvin/Cody provide zero defense then we simply cannot play them because they don't provide offense either.

This is one odd lineup: Parker, Lamb, Batum, Kaminsky, Biyombo.

I don't think the season statistics back up that statement: look at defensive win share, defensive rating, or defensive +/-. They are among the club leaders.

There’s a perception that if you’re terrible offensively then you must be a good defender. With the exception of MKG, nobody on this team is an above average defender. MAYBE can make the argument for Biz, but even he is undersized for his position just like Cody. Cody is very active but he’s not a good individual defender. If we wanted to make a playoff push and get better, then we should’ve picked up Ariza. But no, we’ve got Shelvin Mack now instead.

Marvin looks a lot better as a defender when he’s not playing C.

Marvin’s first stat of any kind after playing 10 mins just came on that last score with 4:30 left in the second.

Kemba 1-9! None of his shots have any lift to them. They all looks short.
