this is an important game so you can probably safely bet $5000 bucks on the Heat beating us on a Dwyane Wade game winner. **** that **** guy

Pelicans are some no good tankers. Tied game and the coach gets a T to give the Suns the win. Hopefully the Nuggets win.

Just tuned in and they said that the team got in to Miami at 5am after the Washington game, which means they spent all day Saturday and Saturday night in Miami -- ugh. I was thinking last night about how I wished they just went back to Charlotte and didn't fly in to Miami until late last night to avoid spending a free day there, given that everyone always talks about how players usually party hard and end up sucking on game day.

Have we won any game that had even the slightest bit of consequence at all this season? If they want to make the playoffs, they better start today.

No Zeller again today.

Let's win this. We'd win the season series against MIA and would be tied for 8th. If we want to attract above average free agents we could show them that a roster this bad besides Kemba can still make the playoffs, and that they could easily be more productive than who we put out there currently. Could be seen as a good opportunity for a hungry few players that want to prove they can take the next step. Not to mention that the likelihood of Kemba staying probably increases if we make the playoffs rather than not...

That being said, not terribly confident in our squad, especially 1pm on a Sunday in Miami :o

We also waited too long to give Bacon meaningful minutes. He played well when he was given the opportunity earlier in the year, then inexplicably didn't sniff the court for a few months. I think he's a quality player. I find it weird that he's either toggling between the Hornets and Swarm, or being asked to start and guard James Harden for an entire game  . What's up with that? He should've been given a regular spot in the rotation until he showed that he wasn't ready, but it seemed like he proved his worth and his play didn't reflect the subsequent addition to the JB dog house...

The announcers said that if we win today, we would own the tiebreaker over MIA. I wasn't sure how that would be, given that the season series would be 2-2, but it looks like because the tiebreaker rule that would apply would be record within the division, and it looks like MIA has been getting beat up by the other teams in the division, whereas I think we've won most of our season series with the other teams.

I still don't get why we weren't playing Biz for a good portion of this season. Even when he's playing bad, he still gives us defense, which is more than you can say for all of our other centers.

We're 2-1 against MIA this year.

Wow, I just read Miami gets OKC without Westbrook next game. They might actually try to win this.

Oh, hell, I'm stupid. I made it harder than it had to be. :banghead:

Well, on the bright side, if we LOSE today, we should still probably own the tiebreaker based on divisional record...

Lamb 8-)

Liked the ball movement from the 2nd unit. MKG paired with Frank makes a lot of sense. MKG got a few nice offensive rebounds there.
