The Raptors are three games behind MIL in the loss column and six games ahead of PHI in the loss column, so, it seems like their playoff positioning (#2) is pretty much set -- maybe they will be nice and rest some of their players for this game? :D

TOR has won five in a row (including wins against ORL and BKN) and at least as of their last game, it doesn't look like they've been resting anyone yet...

Seems about time for a Kawhi “load management” game I’d guess. Oh well maybe we can hang around the 12th pick and draft Brandon Clarke still.

Bucks just beat the Sixers, clinching the 1-seed and locking Toronto at 2. Seems likely.

If we could get to the 10th worst record, our odds would double for a top 4 pick to 13.9%.

Just play Monk the whole game. It's a mockery the way we are developing him.. Just look at Trae Young. He's an undersized player that has trouble on D, but has offensive skills. How would Trae Young be doing if he played here? My guess is he would be lucky to get more than 10 minutes a game.

On the other hand, if we win out these last 4 games, we have a decent shot at the playoffs...at least one of BRK/ORL/DET will win 1 our fewer game left (we play DET and ORL as well)

MIA and BKN play against each other in their final game, so, one of them is guaranteed another loss as well.

And the other is guaranteed a win. There is only 1 spot open for us and it's a nightmare matchup.

I think there's a better chance we do some damage in the playoffs as opposed to drafting someone that will have much of an impact on our success next season. I'd rather make the playoffs and draft a few spots later rather than miss it, end up not moving up in the lottery, drafting someone that might not even be good, and -- even if they turn out to be good -- what are the odds they will just end up a victim of Borrego's inexplicable lineups?

I highly doubt anyone we draft is going to make a significant difference on this team next season, so, why not make the playoffs and just draft a few spots later?

because we wouldn't learn anything from it and each draft spot matters

it'd be different if this was just some young team growing and on the way up, but this team is functionally broken and playing better than the sum of its parts in more ways than one. there's no damage to be done. with the way that playoff games slow down and become physical, do we we really need to see anyone's value tank further than it already is?

biyombo can't guard anyone
frank is waiting to get exposed
willie is going to be come a punchline
batum is gonna get even harder to move
marv might die
tony is likely to sleep with someone's wife out of frustration
 its just a mess. there's no room to learn even for the younger guys either. playoff experience doesn't simply make people better. its not going to give monk 10 more pounds of muscle, its not gonna make make graham consistent, its not gonna make bacon get the ball more

this team just needs to be put out of its misery already so that the FO can acknowledge its mistakes and get to work on fixing them without some fraudulent post season highlights across several blowouts to have them thinking they're on the right track

Doesn't look like TOR is completely resting anybody tonight based on this starting lineup -- maybe they will just play them fewer minutes?

It's not technically a "must win" game, correct?

How the hell do you leave Danny Green wide open? I mean, come on...

MKG and Biz aren't even NBA players at this point. They should go to the d-league and learn how to play.
