Shoutout to Cody Zeller who couldn't play a single game in the last 4 weeks because he was sore.

I want Cody, Batum, Biz, Marvin, and MKG off the team. Cut them and take the dead money as losses, I don't care.

do you think frank will be resigned after how well he played in the end and how much will it cost us if we are intrested in keeping him.

Co-sign. I'm actually hoping Marv retires (or we force him to retire). Batum, MKG, and Biz might be difficult to unload. I'm so tired of Cody since early this season and I don't know about his trade value but he's the first one that I want to ship out.

We need to dump at least half the team in the off-season.

Frank isn't worth more than 5 million a year. Let him go somewhere else if he gets more money. We needed him tonight and he couldn't do it. The consistency just isnt there.

I also think this is Lamb's best season and he won't be good when he gets paid. Enough making mistakes signing people in contract years.

I know that Zeller/MKG are injury prone, but I don't buy that they somehow now just suck as players. They were decent to good in recent seasons on the court. Again, I don't believe that just about everyone regressing outside of Kemba and maybe Lamb is just because they all suddenly started to suck. Zeller and MKG are still young guys. If you want to write them off because off their constant injuries, I can maybe understand that, but I don't buy one bit that they are just irredeemable players in terms of production at this point. They are NOT the same situation as Batum/Marvin.

Hopefully we will not have to give up any first round draft picks.

Defensively, I think Marvin would’ve made a difference on Gordon tonight.

Gordon is much too quick for a "washed up" Marv that has nothing left in his tank.

Late games have some relevance, although not the one being broadcast nationally (Jazz/Clips).

Kings vs. Blazers: obviously a Sacramento win slightly improves our lottery odds. But also because the Denver 2nd round pick we're owed could be affected by a Portland win. It's worth noting that Portland appears to be starting 3rd stringers, presumably to ensure a 4/5 matchup with Utah instead of a 3/6 with OKC.

Nuggets vs. Wolves: Nuggets render any of the above null with a win tonight, and they do appear to be going for it with their starters vs. a KAT-less Minnesota team. But a loss, coupled with a Portland win would create a 3-way tie with the idle Rockets.

This scenario would mean picks 55-57 would be decided by random draw. If Denver ends up at 55, we'd get that pick; if they get 56 or 57 we'd get Washington's 36th pick.

I'm not following -- so what exact results do we need to get the 36th pick?

Simplest is just a Denver win, but if they lose we also want Portland to lose. Otherwise we leave it to chance whether we get pick 36 or pick 55.

Ahh, okay. I think that DEN will try their best to win, judging from some elaborate tank scheme of theirs I was reading about on the General Board earlier. They basically have allegedly been trying to semi-tank so that they end up #2 and I guess Portland ends up #3, which would mean GSW/HOU end up in the other bracket.

Yeah that seems to have been what they were angling for, but now Portland has decided not to oblige and seems intent on holding at the 4-seed.

Would be a win/win for us as they trail Sacramento by 9 after 1.

Best thing to come out of this season is that #36 pick. Now, if we trade it for cash considerations, I will no longer follow this team because that would be the dumbest move ever.

So if the Kings lose we have the same odds as them for the 14th pick and it just depends on how the pingpong balls fall?

Edit: Miami also to shake out the 12, 13 and 14th picks?
