Arnoldas Kulboka- overseas?
Jalen McDaniels
Robert Franks- 2way

Looking at current breakdown by position we are pretty stacked at forwards but lack depth at wing and point guard.

Other 2 way options?
Josh Perkins- PG
Joe Chealey- PG
Caleb Martin- Wing
JP McCura- Wing

So basically we have 15 true roster spots available with 2 extra players being deemed two way guys.

Excluding Kulboka for now (might be in Europe) we have 14 guys who look to be on regular NBA contracts and 1 two way guy.

This leaves us with option to add 2 more players. I think Perkins is going to get the other 2 way deal from us, but not sure.

Canididates for last roster spot- Kulboka, Justin Holiday, Vince Carter, Caleb Martin, JP McCura or others.

What are your thoughts?

Worst team in the league. I can’t think of a team in the league with less talent. Bodes well for the pro-tankers tho.

Its hard to even get excited for a tank knowing that if any of the draft picks are home runs they're eventually going to leave if they get good enough to demand a contract big enough to send the team into the luxury tax.

It’s all about putting the best product on the floor. Even when you do get great players and even when championships nothing lasts forever so you have to make the most of it. This organization fails to recognize talent and make sound decisions to improve even when they do have something going right for them.

This season would be a great time for Nic to do his best Paul George impression. It would be glorious if he could salvage his reputation enough to get us a decent asset in a trade.

Nic is going to have to do something, someone besides Monk, Bacon and Miles need to score.

and Rozier.

I expect us to use the same system as last year, but Rozier as Kemba. It'll probably be like Kembas first few seasons when he led the team in scoring but shot 38%.

Wishful thinking. Even at his career best he’s not worth his contract.

I expect Batum to be benched before or by midseason for one of the young guys.

Batum has officially become the worst / most hated player in this franchises history. Name me one player who has had this type of negative impact on the organization by being under contract for us. Nobody comes close. Not even Tryus Thomas.

I'd probably roll with:

Rozier
Bacon
Batum
Miles
Zeller

Graham/Martin
Monk
MKG
PJ
Willy

The 2011-12 team is legitimately better.

GTFO lol

Rozier, Bridges, Bacon and Zeller are all better than anyone on that team. Henderson was the best player on that team.

This team is legitimately close to being as bad and maybe worse than that team so you are correct. They better take advantage of teams taking load management on them or they’re winning less than 20 games for sure.

Henderson at that time despite his flaws was probably further along than Bridges and Bacon.

As far as Rozier he’ll probably shoot the most shots on the team and he’s a career 38% shooter playing with less talent than he was surrounded with in Boston and worse coaching.

Good luck on Zeller playing more than 60 games.

Unless Rozier or some of the young guys really pop, I think we'll be one of the worst teams in the league, if not THE worst.

Which I don't hate. Everyone complained about us being stuck in the middle forever, at least we're now picking a direction and building a young team and going for that high draft pick. I'll take that over whatever Orlando or Detroit is doing.

Y'all gotta chill with the 2011 comparisons. We'll be bad but not to that extent. Kemba and Biz were uninspiring rookies; the only legitimate (being generous) NBA veterans were Augustin, Henderson, and Diaw. We also featured the corpses of Carroll, Diop, and Maggette; and a laundry list of guys that never caught on anywhere else: Mullens, DJ White, Derrick Brown...

Not to mention Tyrus Thomas and Cory **** Higgins.

Agree that there is no real comp to 2011. Lots more talent than that on this squad. The loss of Kemba, Monk, and Frank will definitely be felt - but it's not like the team is stacked with as much fringe NBA talent as the 2011 squad was.

Not sure they will put it together. This may be a really down year. But I'm interested to see how things go.

I don't think we'll be as bad as some people think we'll be. I'm seeing 28-32 wins coming and Bridges/Bacon will look good this year. We will just not be able to hang in as many games as there's no Kemba to keep us competitive and our center situation is just as bad as last year so we'll certainly get beat down inside, miss out on rebounds, lack in blocks, etc.
