Would Anyone be Shocked if Kemba went to the magic to play for Clifford?

seeing what clifford has done this year with the magic and Kemba likes clifford and respects him I could see him jumping ship there and it would really hurt being a hornets fan seeing our former coach and star pg with a rival team whooping our azz.

No, I really don't see that happening. If Kemba liked Clifford so much and was going to follow him, I think our FO would know and not let Clifford leave. Also, Orlando isn't usually at the top of anybody's list.

Of all possible outcomes, this one worries me the least.

I wouldn't be shocked, I'd just shake my head and feel like he probably wasted his shot at chasing success.
I don't see Orlando as much more than a 6-8 seed in the next few years, they won't be better than TOR/BOS/MIL/IND/PHI at minimum, possibly BRK/NYK also depending on who they add, so it would seem like a lateral move to me. And yeah, I know Orlando is an 8 seed now, but I don't think Kemba alone adds 6 wins (what it would take to leapfrog up to 5th and overtake Indy, who btw would likely have an even better record with Oladipo). In addition to all that Orlando really hit everything right this year, Augustin had a career year, Ross had a career year, Vuc had a career year, some of that success will be replicated in 2019-2020 and some of it won't.
If the Magic add Kemba I wouldn't be surprised if they 'only' win 43-45 games next season. They'd be a better team for sure, but probably still short of conference finals contention or even homecourt in the 1st round.

if Kemba leaves Charlotte, it's to a team that has a shot at winning a championship. I don't see Orlando happening.

Kemba/Vuc/Gordon/Fournier would be a top 4 east team with a decent bench.
that said, i cant see him going there, but i wouldn't be shocked.

Charlotte without Walker this past season = 15-67
Orlando without Walker = 42-40
Orlando with Walker - 52-55 wins I would think.
However, Orlando can't have both Walker and Vucevic (unless the market on Vuc is extremely poor)

did'n know Vuc was a FA.Yeah that would prob take them out of the running cause noway they can sign both and I don't think they would choose Kemba over Vuc.

Highly doubt this would happen. Signing Kemba would mean not signing Vuc and we have traded for Fultz who can hopefully come back a good player but we'll see. Anyway that Augustin guy is pretty good
