$2 -> Divac, Okafor, Tripucka, Henderson, Felton, Augustin, Hawkins, Wesley, Phils, Coleman, PJ Brown, Diaw, Howard, Campbell
$1 -> everyone else

I tried it first with LJ & Hawkins, but it works better above IMHO. Before that I wanted to fit Kemba in, but it was too hard to get him and a good PF IMHO.

Rice was a damn assassin that one year. Lord knows what he'd do in todays NBA. Had to include him.

Don't blame you on Rice. Loved watching him play here. You are definitely correct about how he would do today.

This was tough. The $3 tier didn't seem much better than $2 tier imo, I liked the value and depth in the $2 tier so I leaned on that.

PG: Baron $4
SG: Hawkins $2
SF: Rice $5
PF: PJ Brown $2
C: Divac $2

I think this lineup could do well in 2019. Two legit stars, both our wings are great from deep, both our bigs are willing passers who play solid defense and rebound well. Divas was one of the GOAT passers at C, which is another wrinkle I like.

If Captain Jack had been in the $2 tier I would probably swap him in and drop PJ, then run with a small-ball lineup where S-Jax or Rice is the PF. The passing and shooting ability of a Baron/Hawkins/Rice/S-Jax/Divac lineup would be a thing of beauty.

Ah just realized OP changed values. This blows my team up. I’ll rework it. But that would’ve been a great team.

I really liked your setup so after I failed to come up with a Kemba/LJ team that fit as well as I wanted I pivoted to a similar Kemba/Rice team.

I went with Raja Bell at SG because I felt hed be better in a 3&D role (shot 40% from the real 3pt distance, was all-NBA defense the two previous years, and has better size) and I used the point I saved choosing him over Hawkins to pick skinny Diaw and roll the dice on him not getting fat playing for a really good team. I also kind of just wanted to troll everyone and see their reactions when I picked Diaw lol.
