Even though he and Cody statistically rebound at pretty much the exact same rate and effectiveness?

WCS is basically Sacramento's failed lottery pick to our Zeller failed lottery pick. Why would we want both? I don't want either.

WCS was averaging 11 rebs per 36 last season, Cody still couldnt average 10

You're right - you could make an argument based on durability (although WCS has only played more than 75 games one time in his 4 year career), but outside of that I'm just not sure I see him being a big enough improvement over Cody.

In fact I see them pretty equal both statistically and playing style wise (and in age!!)

Cody averaged 9.6 per 36 - which rounded up is 10.

It's a 1 rebound difference.

That's a big enough justification that WCS would be an upgrade?

I would much rather get Looney if we can swing it. He has more offensive skill then golden state let him show and he can really move his feet on defense.

As a fanbase we don't appreciate Cody Zeller enough. Outside of Kemba (and TBD on Monk/Bacon) he's the only Cho draft pick that wasn't a massive disappointment. If he could stay healthy he's the only player on this roster not on a rookie contract that actually deserves what he's being paid.

Frustrating how often hes injured though. Its always a damn bone bruise that last 3 months.

We have too many centers already
I just want to let Biz expire and get tougher in the paint next year with a great draft pick

Next year free agent class sucks. If we can snag a guy for a multi-year deal who could be a new age center we have to consider it.

Biz and Willy both are awful and Zeller can’t stay healthy.

He never plays. You cant depend on him to give you a full season of play.

That has to count for something.

It's time to move on. His body can't handle it

I think a lot of posters get enamored by players that went to blue blood colleges and were high picks, regardless of their actual on court performance. WCS stinks and has zero passion for the game of basketball.

Shooting. Passing. Steve Nash/John Stockton Esque-passing.

Hornets will need a different type of point guard play this season.

Apparently Cousins is likely going to have to accept the MLE and I saw a tweet earlier that mentioned Charlotte as a possibility. We have an opening and he needs a chance to redeem himself. Would immediately be our best player, even if he’s not his former self anymore.

Not saying we should do this, but it’s something that could happen. Would’ve loved that move had we kept Kemba.
