I just want us to make the playoffs this year. Sure it'll hurt our draft stock, but if we want to eventually win we have to get our young players a taste of the postseason. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Maybe I have a problem. I'll just say that I'm a fanatic 8-)

The back half of the lottery this year looks pretty crappy to me. I'm all in on going for the playoffs.

I feel as though we need to make a trade if we want to be competitive in the playoffs.

We can't be serious about the playoffs with our lack of size/rebounding so I agree with you. I hope they consider Cousins, we have decent space and a roster spot to add him.

Pretty much best case scenario all around for playoff hopes. Losses by the Hawks, Magic, Knicks, Raptors, and Celtics.

Little side note, decided to bet 100 to profit 516 on a 3 leg parlay: GSW ML / 76ers ML / Mavs ML.

Besides a 41 to profit 37 +12.5 on our squad last night (eek), hadn't put any sports bets in for a few weeks. Guess I had a feeling :P

Should we take a flyer on Noah Vonleh? I think he can contribute in Charlotte.

His BPM this year is -29.9

That is not a typo.

you should know better than to use advanced stats to quantify an 11-minute sample size...

This guy...

Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said Thursday he has nearly pulled of some trades this season.

How Could Clifford drop the ball so badly on Christian Wood?

I know this has prob been talk about before on here but man it just pisses me off seeing him ball out and how Center is out big weak link just drives me crazy.

I will say this glad we got rid of Clifford I could only imagine him having Melo rotting on the bench with hardly any playing time knowing him.

He's putting up great stats. But the biggest knock on him is being a black hole player and not contributing to winning. We'll see if that plays out differently

He’s made a trade? What’d he do?

Looks like the Knicks might save us from paying Drummond, considering his salary and how much we'd have to give up to trade for him I'm thankful for that. I think it would take us out of playoff contention.

Great asset management by OKC, but I do wonder if they'll eventually reach an inflection point where they can't actually roster all those picks and/or find enough trade partners willing to send back fair value.
